...in the commission of a crime.

Not even Oreo can rationalize this horseshit.

They are not to blame for the use of a gun.

Blame the Republicans who made them available...

PROCEDURE RedneckTranslator(KO, guns)

Return (Republicans are to blame.)

See how easy that is to rationalize?

It was the elimination of a mandatory sentence. People can still be sentenced to the additional 10 years.

Links?

Is this the same Cali that hates guns so much their politicians are always trying to ban them?

The Democrat base is most impacted by this law. So it's an attempt to solidify more votes while endangering the lives of law abiding citizens as they conspire against those citizen's rights to arm themselves in defense against that lawless base.

He's old and dried up. It seems like most of the right who've come out from under their rocks with Trump elected are dried up old fucks.

The good news is they're going to die off soon and the new generation will never have to deal with them.

Luckily there are many young people who can see the light and think nothing like you.

That is entirely the point of mandatory sentencing. Turning a sentance that could be applied, but rarely is, to one that is applied. Consistantly. Because law-abiding citizens want miscreants who use firearms in the commission of crimes off the streets and unavailable to commit crimes involving firearms for great lengths of time and hope that it will have a deterrent effect on those criminals who perhaps are less needing lengthy incarceration. Perhaps they'll commit a crime without using a gun.

Not that he actually is a lawyer but imagine if Oreo was. Clearly he would be a failing lawyer which makes him perfect, if politically connected, to be appointed to the bench. Can you imagine Oreo not being easily swayed by any argument put forth by a defense attorny on sentencing?

You have no idea how old I am, who I am, what my life is about, dipshit.

Yes, if there is one thing that career criminals care about, it's voting.

next you're going to ask him if you ever goes a day without constantly talking about shit and doing things to other men's butts like you don't the answer is no. really, it's your time you're wasting, not his.

Then I'm sure you can supply evidence that the sentence was rarely applied before passage of the law that made an additional 10 years mandatory.

While you're at you can explain why killing someone with a gun in CA should get a longer sentence than killing someone with a piece of rope.

Why don't you go ahead and supply evidence that the sentence was frequently applied before the passage of the law? Why is it that all you progressives get decide that everyone else has to do your homework and provide citations for things that are patently obvious but the reverse is never true?

..and the reason is very simple California wants to pretend that the instrument is the problem that the gun is the problem if the gun is the problem then have those that are misusing guns put away. That's worked rather well it's had a huge impact on crime because people who use guns are locked away for a very very long time.

The fact that the perpetrator used a gun was it convenient excuse to lock away people who are obviously disposed to violence.

All of this is simply code for blacks shooting blacks and the best way to prevent that from happening is to lock up blacks that shoot blacks, or were carrying around a gun despite being a felon with a record of violence who was quite likely about to shoot another black guy.

About 2400 blacks are shot every year. This is characterized as America's "gun violence problem" problem. No one is attempting to legislate against the intetests of law abiding citizens on rope purchases because of America's rope violence problem.

Of thos 2400 blacks murdered each year, about 2,200 of the murders, the perpetrator is black. About 200, the perpetrator is either not black or completly unknown so cannot be characterized.

You either know this, or you dont. Before you ask, per the FBI uniform crime reports.

this measure is simply to have more Democrats on the street. It's hard to even get a mail-in ballot in prison.

Yes, please do.

Yes, please do.

Despite the fact that smartphones have been ubiquitois for years, I still have yet to have anyone whip out Goggle or Wiki to bolster their argument, much less DEMAND I do so in any exchange I have had with anyone in the real world. I talk to at least a handful.of complete strangers and several acquaintences every single day on much the same, topical, current events that are argued so ineffectually here.

So does this mean you support the law?
