Another point to make here is that this decision is in keeping with Trump's tradition of hiring bootlickers for important jobs without any regard for their actual qualifications. Not that this media venture is ever going to amount to anything tangible aside from separating stupid people from their money.

This Trump Media & Technology Group does not appear to be that. It plans to launch a social media network -- didn't Trump already do that? :confused: -- but nothing ever seems to come of Trump's supposed plan to launch his own TV news channel or anything like that.
