I'm from Australia and my Bro is moving to Canda in March/April .. he's still tossing up where to go. At the moment it's looking like Vancouver .. but another friend of mine said NO!! double taxes and too much rain (this guy actually lived in Calgary for 15 months and loved it) .. any plugs you wanna give your fair city? (that way if I can convince him to change his plans I can call in on you when I visit later in the year )

Well definitely the taxes and the rain are huge flaws for Vancouver.
Calgary is close to the mountains in case he likes snowboarding or skiing, very nice for hiking too.
it has a pretty decent night life...and I don't wanna toot my own horn but the ladies are the hottest!!!!
