Caged (max+poser art)

Cool work, and very appealing to many I would imagine. Look forward to seeing where this goes. :cathappy:

Cool stuff!

I like it very much, the dog food was particularly great!

I checked out the entire series, and although it is not a genre of choice to me, I see some serious talent going into these. Awesome a definite asset to the art world!!

Hope you don't mind I linked your work on the BDSM Cafe for those who might like to enjoy it and don't wander these halls usually. :catroar:

Thanks for your comments Jason! I imagine it’s not a genre of choice for most ;-). Nice to know that most here seem to have an open mind about it though.

Very interesting work here. Do you do most of your work in max and poser?

Thanks for the welcome moonlight elf :). Yep - I pretty much stick to 3dsmax and poser (and misc bitmap editors for textures and post editing). I'm just a tinkerer though and don't use either to their full capacity.

Here's a first attempt at liquid... :) I've been tinkering with getting the refractions, shape, and color right.... almost there I think, although still not happy with the shape of the spray.

I envy you our talent in this area, I wouldn't even know how to begin. I can see what you mean about the shape, or perhaps more to the point, pattern of the spray not being quite realistic when compared to a real situation. I would think it needs to go in an outward, more open pattern, with perhaps a variation in size and shape of the droplets the further they fall. Still, I get the feeling you will continue to go back and tinker with it until you get it where you want. :cathappy:

Maybe try Flickr.com. While they do delete what they consider offensive, it usually doesn't happen if you put a privacy barrier on your pics tben shared amongst your friends only (those you add as contacts). You can post them to various public groups where they will be seen by those in the group and/or public depending on the settings of the group. You can also set up your own private or public group where discussion as well as photography or art can be included.

Catalina,

Thanks for the flickr suggestion! I ended up creating a google group before I got your message - if the google one doesn't end up working out, I'll give flickr a shot. From your description it sounds promissing.

Arienette,

Thank you - I'm glad you enjoy them! Unfortunately, I'm in Chicago on business till the end of the month, so not much will be done between now and then (my laptop is just too painfully slow for this type of stuff). I have some ideas I'm looking forward to putting together when I get back though :).
