Because I'm not ready NOT to see his name on the first page. At least not today.

He didn't become Naughtius Maximus by choice but he carried the name well enough.

It's odd to log in and not see the page flooded with threads talking about whatever he was watching or listening to at what must've been really odd hours for him.

I can almost hear his laughter as I read this.

You make it seem like that is some sort of accomplishment. Byron had some of the thinnest skin of anyone I've ever met on a message board, simply disagreeing with him offended him.

My all time favorite mental image of Byron, one I've shared many times:

In general no, but depending on what mood he was in, esp. if he had been drinking for several days, he could get quite touchy. He never held onto it and it was usually completely over it within a short time.

Well, I never had that sort of background info on the boy, so I never got the "big picture".

Instead, I got the brunt of the tantrums and hissy fits he used to have....not all of 'em (AJ got just as many as I did) but enough so I'd put Byron on ignore for long periods.

In all honesty, I thought he was bi-polar or depressed or had some other schizoid mental issue, Byron rarely mentioned his drinking (or if he did, I don't remember it).
