I am working on an erotic story now that takes place in Woodstock (1969).

I was able to get a lot of great info on the net plus of course I've seen the movie, heard the CDs, etc. I was wondering if anybody out there was actually at Woodstock during the summer of love who had any stories they wanted to share.

*Especially the sex stories cause the Woodstock site doesn't have any porn Woodstock stories - damn. LMAO ... Was the love really free ... do tell all please.*

And for those not fortunate enough to have been there, your thoughts on Woodstock are also most greatly welcomed. :)

My brother went to Woodstock and told me in the three days there he was with at least ten different women. I asked him what he thought about the event and he got this very dreamy look on his face. He said in spite of the rain and mud and lack of toilets it was the best party he ever went to. He described the many couples making love in front of the stage on the ground. He said one couple was in front of him and he watched a girl blow this guy while Joe Cocker sang "You get by with a little help from your Friends". Thats all I remember him telling me about it was a very long time ago. I guess it was the idea of all those people with all the difficulties and shortages still managing to have a great time that makes me smile. I really wish I was old enough to have gone.

Thanx Ginger for the great story. oh man .. i can picture this really cool guy playing air guitar .. "i get high with a little help from my friends ... and then looking down to the hippy chick blowing him .. "baby hurry up Jimi is on next" .. LMAO ..

I've been thinking bout Woodstock so much lately cause of the story. I too wish I was old enough to have partied with the mud-drenched hippies while I grooved to the likes of Jimi and Janis.

And even though their heads were oh so spaced out, how free and happy their hearts were even though they had to use the porta potties *yuck I hate it when I'm someplace I have to actually stand in line to use one of the vile but yea ok necessary creations*.

It's amazing too how many of the rock bands that played nearly 31 years ago on Max Yasgur's farm are (unlike our much missed Jimi and Janis) still around today …. The Who (although we lost Keith), Joe Cocker, Jefferson Starship (who were Jefferson Airplane) .. the drugs flowed freely ..

And yea the sex. That was before aids .. when the biggest risk you took for the thrill of a "zipless fuck" would be unwanted pregnancy (not that I mean that an unwanted pregnancy is not serious because it definitely is .. it's just not a death sentence as is aids).

They were a generation who wanted to change the way the world was run. Did they?

Peace was important. Love was important. The 31st Woodstock anniversary is coming up next month.

But if it is one thing that Woodstock has taught us all as we party through life it is to stay away from the brown acid. :)
