As you'll see in my comment eventually, I love that you used the color changing aspect of cephalopods. I've been into octopi for some time as a symbol of future human telepathy abilities, for the similarity between telepathy and communicating with expressions of one's inner self and emotional state through non-consciously controlled color patterns and changes. I even have a relevant cephalopod tattoo.
