Grant had a hard day at work nothing had worked to his satisfaction. maybe he was a little picky. He was a nice enough guy a little rough around the edges perhaps as he heard tell. but it didn't bother him at all as he looked out the window watching people walking back and forth during rush hour.
What he needed was have a drink and relax. Than again he knew he should have a drink. One drink was enough, two made him a little tasty. He got all his things together and left his office. He headed into the parking lot for his car. He got into the car than remembered he forgot something.
He walked back to the building and got into the revolving door as a woman was and the way out. No sooner he got in when the door stops. He tried to push it opens as the woman was trying the same thing. "Great he said softly. that's all I need now, get trapped in a revolving door." He tried a half smile at the woman, but she looked down shyly avoiding looking into his eyes. Must be my *F..ing day he swore under his breath.
They couldn't do much they had to wait for the maintenance man they were told. He leaned against the door and looked at her. "Shit he said very softly. She's a damn know out. He thought. He hadn't noticed before. light auburn hair almost in the middle of her back, even though she wore loose clothing, he could tell she had nice firm breasts, green eyes. He figured she was in her middle 20.
"Hi." He said. " I'm Grant. Grant Morris. You do meet beautiful people in the most strangest place don't you." He said smiling She attempt a smile and she said. "I'm Darla Power. nice to have met you Mr. Morris." No No. He said Mr. Morris is my father. I'm Grant. She smile as her eyes looked down shyly.
She was a real looker he was going to do his best to hang on to her. Just then the maintenance man came and got the door going again.
Look I know this is out of the ordinary can I buy your drink or a coffee. He said to her. The way we met must've been faith. "look He pointed to her.
There is a place right there. we don't even have to go far.
She agreed shyly and the both walked to the coffee shop.
