As a Christian i feel that Bush has no say or write to ban anything from the net. If someone succeeds in banning anything on the net were will it all end? because one group wil counter against the next until we get to a state where everything is banned and we know that is impoosible to have happen. Sure there are right wing fanatics that want things shut down, and they will beller and hollar and scream but they won't succedd in getting anything shut down.

Free Speech is what our countries are built upon there is no way in hades that the net is going to get shut down.

yes but that was the unreligious right that gets there way, first was prayer, then was punishment, next was any religious propaganda being banned.

as for the religious right getting there way, hahahaha. It will never happen if anything porn regulatiions will get looser and looser and looser till pedophilia and beastiality are mainstream.

I don't think they can really ban net porn, what they can do is ban free net porn. They can say that you have to have a credit card to prove you're an adult. Sites like Literotica, ASSTR, etc. would have to either go pay or fold under. That's probably what will happen under Bush, tho I hope I'm wrong. I don't know how anyone who enjoys porn or believes in free speech could vote for him but oh well. We'll see.

Congress is evenly split Democrat-Republican. At least half the country believes Bush didn't win honestly (anyone else watch the AFL-CIO protests in Tallahassee? there's a lot of powerful forces aligned against Bush accomplishing much of anything). With all that, does anyone REALLY think Bush will be able to successfully enact any of the nutbar right-wing policies he espouses? Bush has pretty-much guaranteed himself four years as a lame-duck president.
