The young lady does not want to go public, and without her willingness, we don't feel that we're on solid enough legal ground to go with the story, because should she say it never happened, then we've got a potential libel suit. But we know we have enough evidence that we believe completely. One of the things that interested us was that this abortion took place before Roe Vs. Wade in 1970 [sic. 1973], which made it a crime at the time. I'd just like the national media to ask him if abortion is okay for him and his family, but not for the rest of America. We're not looking at it as a big issue, we're looking at it as a situation of people not being told the truth. I think the American people have a right to know everything there is to know about someone running for President.

Young Knave, that is the nature of the current Republican party. They yell 'less government' all day long but have no plans to limit the federal government. Even McCain said that Bush's Social Security plan would bankrupt the Federal government (now that the Repubs have him back in line he's singing a different tune. what a disappointment that he chose party affiliation over honesty. He lost credibility in my eyes.) They spend two terms plotting vicious treasonous attacks against the President of the United States. All of these fail. Character is still important. I just haven't seen any legitimate news story yet(which is what Lasher was trying to tell you) about Bush and any illegal abortion.

As for the lack of "legitimate" news stories about Bush, I think you can put about as much trust in the "legitimate" media as you can in Larry Flynt. The media seams to have no interest in the character of leading republicans. Bush gets a free pass for his past misdeads, getting into the National Guard despite low test scores during the Vietnam war. Making claims such as the Gore campaign has outspent him. How about Cheney saying the government had nothing to do with his success when his company suddenly attained a multitude of government contracts when he joined them. Think his government connections had anything to do with that? Yes, Mr. Cheney is certainly earning his very large salary, securing all that taxpayer cash for the company. Or how about the large number of guests Bush has had at his governor's mansion who just happen to have donated mucho danero to his campaign. The list goes on and on.

C'mon now, not everything Hitler did was bad... He built the Autobahns, solved Germany's economic problems, and he was a big supporter of the Wagner festival. Sure, the whole Holocaust thing was a big mistake, no one's perfect.

Now as far as voting for him goes, I don't think he's running this year, and even if he was, he'd be awfully damn old, and wouldn't be eligible for the Presidency anyways (you know, natural born citizen, 14 year resident, blah blah blah...). So that doesn't really make a whole lot of sense...
