and for the most part the rioght wing religious zealots are totally oblivious to it, and they are the ones who in proability could have been the last line of defense to a totalitarian police state stake over.

unitl you get your hands on a copy of the "faith based initiative, my words are going to mean fcrap to you but here is what it boils down to for right wing religion.

sign the paper and here is what happens:

pros:

you get money for your church

Cons:

your told exactly what to do with it
you must provide detailed finacial documentation on your entire congregation
your entire congregation must register and detail any and all weapons
your congregation must detail any professional military and/or combat training.

now what would the governement need this type of information from a church for?

Maybe the possibliity that in past times of strife the church ahs often been the last bastion of hope for the people, the patriot movement, those who fought back against tyranical oppressors, large gatherings of uncontrolable people who do not see earthly authority as thier final authority.

but for the most part right wing religion, thanksers to baker, robertsm swaggart, hinn, falweel, etc are so money blind nothing else matters.

and to bad but soon its going to be to late for them and anyone else.

Plus the big story during his presidential campaign about taking time out of canvasing to stop and evangelize a little boy and beinging him to the lord, is a crock of shit, but the right keeps on going on and on supporting him.

nope i aint democrat

Bush is too stupid to be evil. Left wing extremists are too blind to see it. Calling Bush evil is silly. He is a puppet whose voice comes from the people.

On this thread you're an honorary member to the club.

I do wish GWB didn't bring emphasize the scripture when addressing the nation. Kinda shows too many cards while being in the international spotlight. Especially since his 'exterminate every Muslim on earth' campaign is about to start.

The last "Premptive strike" I remember was on Munich.

Ever since then my suspicions of that man have pretty much been supported.

He's the worst US president ever and if not for his utter incompetence he ranks with the world's most wicked.

Now I understand why you tend to cut & paste,;)

I appreciate your issue & your efforts, though. Federal dollars means federal control. The one to pay is the one to say, be it a wedding, a school, - or a program.

Once you're on the hook to the gov., they have this tendency to make you comply with all of their regulations- whether or not you object to their policies.

I think the Faith -based Initiative will be bad for my church of choice as well as bad for the taxpayers.

hehehe, yeah cut and paste makes the spelling bee's more happy.

but i don't really care about them, they know how to spell they should know what the word ignore looks like, and they use the net, so they should know how to use the button

You can get financial aid for a GED program. Good luck.

well here the GED only costs about 40 bucks and you don't have to go through any program

ps - don't forget that bush decided that more logging in oregon would be good for the environment.

That is only one of many reasons.

Overall, I think he represents humankind at it's most miserable state.

Considering that there is evidence that not trimming forests makes them more prone to fire, he may just be right there.

So you're saying we need to cut down the forest so they don't catch on fire?

I'm guessing Bush plans to save wallstreet by converting from the gold standard to supporting the peso.

Considering that many confiers need fire in order to release their seeds and that fire returns nutrients into the soil preventing a deficiency and killing all the trees and promoting tree growth, that isn't a good thing for forests.

I haven't heard about the campaign to exterminate every Muslim on earth. If it's about to start, where will it start? Seems to me it would be a lot less of a burden on taxpayers if this plan to exterminate Muslims starts off in the U.S.
At any rate, I wouldn't support such a campaign.
Please provide more details.

The ultraWarriors always point to Islam being the primary problem. GWB's closest ally, Sharon publicly says he needs a million more JEWs (or a million less Palestinians). I suppose you also don't think Tehran is the next target after Baghdad.
