this thread's gonna spin like a prayer wheel.
Just the people who use iphones, ipods, ipads, or mac computers.People actually use iTunes?

Half the world's population at most, no more than that.
Whatever other programs you decide to use, you can only update your mobile OS through Itunes. It is also your interface with the apple store, where you buy/download your apps.Isn't there some other program that can be used on all those devices? I joke about Mac products a lot, even though I don't have any especially serious issues with them, but I cannot fucking stand iTunes.

If they've updated their T&C's, halfway through your download process you get taken off to a window to accept their updated blahblahblah. Then you're sent back to start your download over again.
I see. How extremely annoying. And to think I was considering getting an iPhone. Not now. Fuck that.
Get a phone on the Android platform instead.
I have one and I like it pretty well. I'm due for a replacement soon, so it's almost time to start shopping and see what's out there. Lady P made what I thought was a smart choice in getting an iPod Touch and a regular little old phone, but I think I want the whole tamale in one tortilla, and I have the above-mentioned aversion to all things Apple, so I have to consider that as well.
I have that app on my Eris. I promise to play with one with an open mind when it's shopping time.I despise all things Apple, but I bought an iPhone 4 in January.....it literally does everything I want it to do, with the possible exception of calling down a satellite death ray on Miles house, and hopefully someone's working on an app for that.
Get the iPhone...you won't be disappointed.
Yeah. That's by no means a reason to avoid the most elegantly subversive device of our age. Everyone else is still playing catch-up, and will be for a long time. And all the other content-delivery methods work the same way as Apple's anyway.
