I second that. Well, not the "perfect man" part, because there's no such thing. But there are great men out there- you have to look. And you have to toss out that idea that there is someone who is "perfect"- because even the man who may be perfect for you may wear track pants in public, or burp on command, or spend all day Sunday watching football rather than worshipping you- that doesn't mean he's a write-off. But again, what do I know? I'm single!

And she did start a discussion- if I should have written "one" instead of "you" then so be it, but frankly, the idea of customizing a "perfect mate" seems a little boring to me- where's the fun when you don't have to search? It's like a scavenger hunt to find someone who embodies enough of the qualities you're looking for and few enough of the ones you're not in order to create a strong relationship.
