Not sure if this is the forum for it, but figured at least other writers could tell me if they are having the same issue.

My story went up today, and while my vote count is growing, my page view count has frozen at 399. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing something similar?

The votes are updated immediately, but the views are updated only once every so often. There doesn't really seem to be any pattern to it. If there is, I haven't been able to decipher it yet.

The views counters are update with the "midnight maintenance" cycle at midnight PDT. The whole process takes about three hours to post the new stories, update the views, and perform all of the other daily tasks required to keep the site updated.

There are times when certain maintenace tasks get run out of cycle because of some problem or other, but in general the views get updated sometime between 0001 and 0300 PDT (GMT - 8) each day.
