Giles:

It was 3am, and Giles was in the high school library, as usual, digging through book after book in the hopes to find something, anything about the gypsy curse that had been placed on Angel so long ago. With a sigh, he sat back in his seat and rubbed his temples. He caught the time out of the corner of his eye from the clock on the wall. "Ah, I better go home and get some sleep..." He muttered to himself as he reached to close the book he had been reading. Something caught his eye though and as he read farther it seemed he had found what he was looking for, or at least part of it... With a smile, he put a book mark in the book and closed it. "I'll have to read this more thouroughly when I am awake..." He picked up the book and stood, taking it over to his desk, he sat it down again, giving it a pat as he grabbed his coat and keys.

Twenty minutes later he was home and in bed, so tired that he didn't remember to turn his alarm clock on.

OOC: The next day Giles will not show until about 11, so Willow needs to find the book and read the text, not realizing that it sets in motion our major plot point.

Oz

As the band finished their last set Oz looked over to see that Willow was still sitting there. He knew that she should be at home and in bed but he also didn't want her to leave his side. As soon as they had finished the last song Oz put down his guitar and walked slowly over to where Willow sat. He just looked straight at her and gave her the smile that she loved so much and then said, "Willow, you do realize that you should be in bed by now. It is a school day tomorrow and who knows what Buffy is going to get herself into."

Buffy gave a satisfied sigh when the vamp she had been fighting turned to dust. "Serves him right, with fashion sense like that someone should have dusted him long ago" she muttered burshing herself off. It was late and she had done enough patroling. It was time to call it a night. Turning she headed home humming softly as she walked.

Angel

Stepping out of the shadows on the rooftop, Angel smiles as he watches Buffy slay another Vampire. "That's it Sweetie, think that you are helping your fellow humans by slaying us, remember the more you kill the more we will make." he wispers.

"Enough of this, I better see what Spike and Dru are upto." Angel thinks to himself as he turns and walks away.

Jenny Calender

I sit at my desk at home searching through the files for the students getting ready to issue grades the following day. Boredom has set in and I let my controls wander to the internet to do some research on Angel and his curse. I reach for the phone to call giles to ask for his help but he doesn't answer. I'll try again in the morning before school.

Willow

Willow smiled back at Oz. "Uh huh. Well... I guess you're right. I guess you're done for the night then?"

Gathering up her books, she held them tightly against her chest as she walked quietly beside Oz. Tomorrow night there was going to be a total eclipse of the moon. She couldn't help wondering how or even if it would affect Oz.

The thought was kind of freaksome, but she didn't want to think about it just now. The seeds of an idea had been forming in her mind for the past week. A new spell. Something to help Angel. But first there were some books in the library that she needed to check out first.

As Oz walked beside Willow he could see that she had her mind on something big. He could always tell by the look on her face when she was thinking of something big. He liked that look on her face but then again he liked that look on her face. He turned to look at her, "What is it.... what are you thinking about?"

Willow

Whenever she looked into Oz's eyes, Willow couldn't help searching them for traces of his 'wolfishness'. She wasn't sure what she'd do if she ever found it, but she liked. No. She loved finding the reflection of herself there instead.

"Tomorrow night is a total eclipse, Oz. Umm... a blood moon. I was wondering if... " Why did he have to look at her that way when she was trying to be all serious like? It made her feel all nervous and giddy. And girlfriendish. And more. She couldn't ask him just now if he would be okay, but she knew the question hung between them.

Changing the subject that she never brought up in the first place, Willow shrugged and asked "Can we go to the library first thing in the morning? I want to check out a couple of things."

Oz was taken aback by what Willow had just said. He had forgotten about the blood moon and he knew that he would have to be locked away somwhere or he would see it and be turned into a werewolf forever. He turned and looked at Willow, trying to keep his true feelings from her.

"We can go to the library first thing in the morning Willow..... well I hope that we can. If we get up tomorrow morning that is?

He then smiled at her and hoped that tomorrow night wouldn't be a bad one for him.... he knew that it wouyld be bad if he were caught outside. He looked at Willow again and said, "Watch out for yourself tomorrow night Willow and don't try anything you haven't tried before. A blood moon has a way of making things go awry."

Spike mooched idly round one of the rooms in the deserted mansion, Angelus was out stalking the slayer - again, and Dru was off playing with Miss Edith and the other dolls. Spike was bored.

and he couldn't go out and play cos bloody peaches thought he was still stuck in that wheelchair. The only thing he could do was wander round when neither of them was about and try and get his strength back.
Either of them - huh few weeks back wouldn't've even crossed his mind to think of Dru as a danger but now she'd gone all bloody girly over having 'daddy' back.

He was beginning to wonder if having angel brooding and miserable wasn't better than having this version of angelus around. After all he wasn't even as much fun as the old angelus - just as vicious and nasty but he'd really got hung up on the slayer - Spike sneered, yeah angelus liked to make out he was the biggest and baddest vamp around but hey who killed two slayers yeah? that was him the big bad - Spike smiled and as he slumped back into the hated wheelchair he day dreamed of the chaos in china when he'd offed his first slayer, and to dream evilly of the chance at offing his third - now that would be one in the eye for angelus!

Willow

"I'll be careful, Oz. You too?" Willow smiled kind of sheepishly. She knew that what she had planned was going to go perfectly. It just had to.

Willow turned, opening the door to the van and climbing in. Yes, it was going to be ohhhh kay.

"Let's go... home?" she said to Oz as he got in on the driver's side.

Oz

Oz looked at her and smiled, "Not tonight Willow.... I wish that I could say that I would love to go home with you but we do need our sleep and how much sleep do you think we will get if we go back to your home.... and bed?"

She smiled at him but by the look in her face she knew that he was right. He put the key into the ignition and after the engine had turned over he was driving down the street. He looked down the street.

"Willow.... if anything does go wrong tomorrow will you promise me that you will tell someone. If I am not around will you please tell Giles or even Buffy. Promise me that now."

Willow

"I promise," Willow replied with a reassuring smile. Even so, they drove the rest of the way to Willow's in silence, both of them lost in their own thoughts. When Oz pulled up to the curb, Willow leaned across the seat and kissed him goodnight.

"See you in the morning?" He nodded and she made her way up the walk to the house. Once at the door, she turned and waved before letting herself inside.

Oz's words came back to her as she got ready for bed. "Willow.... if anything does go wrong tomorrow will you promise me that you will tell someone. If I am not around will you please tell Giles or even Buffy. Promise me that now." Willow had promised, but she didn't think anything would go wrong. In fact, the odds were against it. This was going to work perfectly...

Wasn't it?

As he drove to his home Oz wondered what was going to happen around Sunnydale when the blood moon came about. He hoped that it wouldn't be something that Buffy and the rest of the group couldn't solve and he wouldn't be needed.

He drove up to his home and up the driveway then went into his home and straight up to his room, closed the door and went to sleep.

Buffy slipped silently in her front door closing it softly behind her. Stifling a yawn with her hand Buffy headed towards the bathroom. She closed the bathroom door careful not to make a sound then she undressed slowly. Her entire body ached tonight, alot of the vamps had put up quite a struggle. She turned on the shower testing the water with her hand before clmibing in. Leaning her head back she sighed softly. The water ran down her face on her chest, rolling in rivlets over her breasts and thighs. After she finished with the shower Buffy quickly dried off and headed to her room. Once there she climbed tiredly into bed and drifted off to sleep.

Willow

Willow woke early, stretching and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes before popping up out of bed. Today was the day! She was so righteous it almost hurt.

She had just finished dressing when she heard Oz's voice outside her door. "You decent?"

"Umm... maybe a little?" she answered. "Come in. I'm almost ready."

They made small talk while she brushed her hair and gathered her books into her backpack. Willow's mind was on the book she needed to check at the library and Oz's. Well...
