Okay this is set when buffy finds out about her powers.

i always preferred the movie to the series.

still, i might join, if i can come up with a suitable character. what of, say, an immortal (no powers, just immortality and a lot of time on his hands to learn how to fight)

Giles was replaced by wesley at one point but that was because Giles quit at one point, didnt last long

Powers: none
Skills: highly trained as a Roman Legionnaire, also had some training with Spartan soldiers, and has spent his life studying various ways of fighting from around the world, as well as general history.
Species: Immortal
Appearance: Black hair, black eyes, 6'3", 200 pounds, tanned skin.
Background: Arturius, now known as Arthur, was born in the Roman Empire over two millenia ago. It wasn't until he died on the battlefield, only to stand up off a table in the funerary and walk away, that he found he was immortal. He sometimes considers it a blessing, somtimes a curse, but he's lived through countless eras. He's seen the fall of Rome, the rise and fall of various other empires, countless wars, and numerous religions. He came to some rather odd conclusions. His first was that the concept of a god of any kind was absolutely ludicrous. So-called Evil Demons and Heavenly Host were just species that sprang into existence. Not all demons were evil, he'd realized that early on when a demoness tried to save his life. True, he felt bad about the fact that she'd gone to all that work, and he was immortal anyways. But it was a step on the road to understanding, he thought. He was approached by the Society in 1532, and joined as a Watcher in 1544. His immortality gives him an edge that many Watchers envy, but he doesn't care. What better use for such a burden than being a Watcher, in his mind. He's faked his death many, many times, assuming a new name each time. Now he goes by Arthur Ramsey.

Powers: None
Skills: Can fight with a staff, as well as samurai swords at an intermediate level. Is somewhat of a bookworm, knowing alot about magic and demons have imagined that they had exisred for years. Is internet literate.
Species: Human
Appearance: Short Brown hair, Glasses, Hazel eyes, has a scar on his left arm
Background: The son of a Novelist and a Computer Programmer, Matt falls into the Geek catogory at school due to his strange interests, despite the fact that he is a great performing artist, acting, dancing, singing and playing instruments very easily. Though he has no proof of such things, he is a steadfast believer that demons exist and as such has trained himself to use the staff and samurai swords he bough in combat, in case he ever needs to protect himself or others.

 

[Sean Renaud]

Name: Moller Tiamet
Age: Unknown,
Powers: Increased Strength, speed and extremely low level psychic, mainly empathic
Skills: Moller uses his ability to manipulate and strategic planning to avoid his short comings. Mainly that despite his increased inhuman abilities he's not very comfortable in his human form.
Species: Old One trapped in a human shell (similar to Illyria)
Appearance: Short, military style cut of blonde hair. Beautiful almost effimantent features despite his attempts to appear masculine.

Background: Like many of the Old Ones Tiamet is utterly obsessed over ruling over all other sentient beings, human and demon alike. When driven from the Earth in time before history he made an important discovery/theory. The Earth Realm was the first world, the true world. It was for that reason that all universes were linked to the Earth Realm but very few were linked to each other. If he was to conquer the universe it had to start with the Earth. Unfortunately the magics that were used in driving the Old Ones from the Earth were still intact keeping him from charging through in his true form, but by infecting a human with his being was able to peirce the veil and return to the earth.

I'm aiming for being the big bad for the beggining, obviously I'm quite likely to get killed in the eventuallity, but lots of fun hijinks will preceed my untimely death and of course failure.

If we get a Dawn player (unlikely I know) one of his main goals will be to obtain her, as she is still the Key.

Also Giles never died. He was temporarily replaced by Wesley in Season 3, and after that he was no longer part of the Watcher's Council. (The woman was a one shot Faith Watcher in sseason 3 btw) He was largely absent for seasons 6 and 7 though.

Wow you watch one of only a handful of episodes where she's actually entertaining.

Don't get me wrong, I was never a fan of Dawn myself, but hell we can kill her and that will make everybody happy.

How about a shady character who at the moment is neutral, can become either good or evil depending on where the story leads us.. He would essentially become our version of Angel.. Or atleast that was my idea

Age: Unknown but has the apearence of late 20's early thirties
Powers: Teleportation, the ability to see clearly at night.
Skills: Tongues.
Combat skills: His specialties lie in hand to hand fighting, kicking and sword fighting.
Species: He has all the appearances of a human.
Appearance: Long black hair, around 6 foot tall, athletic build, blue eyes, is fond of wearing black.

Background: Romulus first appeared on the scene only a few months ago, very little is known about him only that he is not mortal, samples have been captured of his blood and its been ruled out that he is either Vampire or werewolf, its widely believed (by those in the know) that he is a Demon but its yet to be confirmed. They are more worried about where his loyalty lies..
