My Thoughts On The Finale's Are On Another Thread, But

Xander Is A God...Well Not Really Cuz He Would Never Have Been Able To Save The World And such.

I Did Have To Say Though, That amelia Is WAY TOO CUTE!

STOP IT!

i think your hat's on too tight.

She's right: it's not the hat that's too tight. Try taking off the shirt, Amelia. Maybe that will help.

FF

rather of seen all of smallville, but other people in the house had different ideals

On the west coast so just now watching.
Did anyone think that Buffy and Willow fighting was hot?
And the guys Spike was fighting...Yummy;)

That Thanksgiving episode was in fact season 4, where the spirit of a Chumash indian mystically infected Xander with a case of Syphilis. Later made reference to in Season 6's "Once More With Feeling" during the Xander/Ayna sequence..."His penis got diseases from a Chumash tribe!"

Rife with parallels of the Season 2 Finale(Becoming 1 & 2). About damned time Xander got to save the world. Always liked that guy, fuckups or not. He was pretty much the only one not giving up on Willow, and I respect him for that. As much as I disagreed with what she was doing, however much I felt for her motives, I myself found that I was unwilling to abandon Will. In the sense that I know it's a television show, but can't help it, I think of these kids as friends.

So...William the Bloody has a soul. His to keep or lose as his actions dictate. Still doesn't make up for a great deal of the things he's done post-chip. I swear, if Buffy lets him into her bed once more, I will have lost complete respect for her. As it is, she's borderline. There have been times I've been rooting for the guy, but then I also never forgot just what he is. Evil is evil, children. No two ways about it. He has much to attain for, if that's even what he's looking to do. Having a soul does no good if he just plans on losing it by getting up with the evil. And really, this doesn't count. It would have been done better if he EARNED a soul, not won a soul as a prize for enduring his Vampire Jedi trials. Ah well. Technically, I felt the intercutting to Spike and his trials took away some from the main plot, and should have been a total mystery, told later next season as flashbacks and such.

Taken as a whole, Year 6 is much better than it's been given credit for. I've watched it's entirety over the past couple days, and it flows much better when you don't have to put up with 2 months of hiatuses. Hiastusi? Whichever.

Tara won't be forgotten.

ah...but he did earn it. let's not forget, angel was cursed. and a souless big bad made this choice out of love. post chip has nothing to do with it. just because he was all a clockwork orange didn't change his evil. a soul does. there's really nothing to be made up for. he's a different person now. he doesn't have to make up for anything. remember also, as a vamp he was always extremely human. he felt love and jealousy. he had more human emotion than angelus ever did.

There ARE things to make up for. It was never said vamps couldn't love, Druscilla herself said it was possible. Should having a soul mean he's in the clear for nearly RAPING Buffy? No. Just because a dog is on a leash and CAN'T bite people doesn't mean he doesn't want to, or won't if he ever broke the leash.

See my tirade thread I'm about to start for more, it doesn't belong here...
