Budweiser considers ending their NFL sponsorship over protests

I'm neither a sports fan nor much of a beer drinker.

And you're likely not a reader of TheBlaze, nutcase Glen Beck's BNN (Bullshit News Net) site, the source of this uncorroborated piece. Better drink some beer. But not Busch-Bud-etc which are now owned by a Belgian cartel. Stay away from Coors too. Westerners call it Ol'FP, that's Old Fairy Piss. For good non-conglomerate REAL beers try Anchor, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Deschutes. Go for IPAs, and doubles and triples, for ass-knocking refreshment.

I would suggest they quit making beer, because its basically piss water, but apparently thats a popular thing, because they seem to sell alot of it..

I've been boycotting Bud Light for many years.

Mainly because it's just kind of lame...

"We are disappointed and increasingly concerned by the recent incidents that have overshadowed this NFL season," the statement read. "We are not yet satisfied with the league's handling of behaviors that so clearly go against our own company culture and moral code. We have shared our concerns and expectations with the league."

Yeah, everything Beck says has to be a lie and we're stupid enough to proclaim it because we don't believe in the truth or research or following a story or any fucking thing because we love Colin and the NFL is blacklisting him!

Fucking idiots. The same people who believe actual fake news just because it comes from somebody credible like CNN...

I called the number, it's legit.
One of the the reasons they give is they support/respect the military.

I left a message but forgot to ask if they were going to boycott Trump properties since Trump disrespected the military, more than any kneeling does, by making a public patsy of veteran Ryan Stickney.
Someone else can mention it to them. Multiple calls from the same number may void the comments left.

So the disrespect of one person is on the same level of proportionality and the disrespect of the entire nation???

Yeah..., I don't think so.

So, Lou Holtz was right...

The team that leads in protests is 0-4.

Colin (cancer) is no longer on any sideline because he's not good enough.

The (white) guy who was let go in order to elevate him (affirmative action) to his former position of team leader is undefeated.

God is Great
Beer is good
People are crazy...

N.J. mega car dealer pulls TV ads over NFL protests

RARITAN TWP. -- In response to the ongoing controversy surrounding NFL players kneeling during the national anthem, the owner of Flemington Car and Truck Country has pulled the dealership's ads from broadcasts of games for the remainder of the 2017 season.

"The National Football League and its owners have shown their fans and marketing partners that they do not have a comprehensive policy to ensure that players stand and show respect for America and our flag during the playing of the national anthem," Steve Kalafer said in a statement. "We have cancelled all of our NFL advertising on the Optimum and Infinity (cable) networks."

Kalafer decided to pull the ads on Thursday after he said employees and customers commented on the disrespect they felt from players who have either knelt or locked arms during the playing of the national anthem.

"I'm talking to 99-percent of (my) contacts, and they agree that it's disrespectful, it's improper," he said. "We couldn't support the lack of direction."

I wonder how many of their customers support Trump in his making a patsy of a marine veteran at one of his rallies last year. Intentionally, to make it appear he cares about the military.

I'd be willing to be practically none.

Because at least he still tires to pretend he cares.

Detroit Lions license plate legislation delayed over NFL kneeling protests

LANSING, MI - A committee vote to establish charity license plates for professional sports teams was put on hold last week as a conflict between players and President Donald Trump simmered.

"While I support people's right to peacefully protest, I also believe that disrespecting our flag and national anthem ultimately disparages the brave Americans who gave their lives for our great country," said House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chair Rep. Triston Cole, R-Mancelona, in a statement last week.

"The committee is not ready to consider this legislation at this time."

Senate Bill 138, which passed the Senate in April, would create fundraising license plates for charities affiliated with the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings and Michigan International Speedway. Each team would submit a logo design, and drivers could choose to purchase that license plate for $35, which is a $10 fee from the state and a $25 donation.

Yeah, lying about things is so much more honorable.
The real reason they don't care is because the majority of Trump supporters seem to be utterly incapable of critical thinking, like Clinton supporters.

Oh good, idiots decide to punish charities because members of the NFL exercise their right of free speech.
Makes perfect sense.

They are not exercising their right to free speech.

It does not apply in the workplace. Ask the guy who Google canned for exercising his free speech...

You can exercise your right to free speech anywhere, anytime. But even the constitution doesn't shield you from the consequences of what you say and how you say it.

Jus sayin'. :)
