I've just been talking to a lovely creature from the US and she has no idea what buckeroo was.... do you ?.
It was a game where you had to hang stuff on the saddle of a plastic donkey ( little plastic pickaxe, bucket, rope coil and such like ) until it bucked it all off and if you were the last person to put anything on the donkey before it bucked then you lost, did you guy's in the US have this game and what was it called

? I've only ever heard that term used as slang for a cowboy.

The donkey was supposed to belong to a miner and the stuff you hung on the saddle were his prospecting tool's, maybe this was a UK only toy....?

buckeroo

Hi, I remember that game! Born and raised in California, so it must have been in the US, too. I'm not sure if I recall the game being called Buckeroo, but nothing else comes to my mind, either.

thank's American person... now come on the rest of you American type people and tell me what it was called in the US if it was called something other than "buckeroo".

Dillinger, are you originally from Ireland? You look familiar, buckaroo.
