Goddamn I feel good! Just finished my first rugby game in a year and a half, two days after joining my new club. We won 22-0 and I was voted MoM.

Going out in a minute to recieve free drinks. God this feels good!

That's something I have never been able to feel after a rugby game. The few times I've tried it, I haven't been able to take a deep breath without starting to cough blood.

So, congrats.

ps. mom?

Congratulations on being named Man of the Match (MoM).

I am sure you deserved it.

In none of my Rugby matches did we win by such a margin.

Actually we never won. 2 dishonourable draws, 1 for multiple injuries and 2 for pushing the posts down were the best we could do.

You deserve a medal. Now go and soak those bruises.

My own Rugger ambitions were to be not involved at all, but if that does it for you, then more power to your elbow.

Do your thing! :D

Enjoy it!

Way to go Earl!

Now, if you weren't taken, and I weren't taken, I'd kiss you.

I admire a good rugby player. The way they scrum up and down the field for two halves - I don't know how you guys do it.

Kudos!

Still smiling. Went out last night, got stupidly drunk and didn't pay for a single pint (under rugby club rules, the Man of the Match gets bought a drink by each of his 14 teammates (some of them were surreptitiously spilt to avoid embarrassment!)). And not a hangover to show for it :D. I'm one of those really annoying people who go out drinking and are up bright and early the next morning full of the joys of spring.

What kind of imitation (ie, English) rugby club is that? In a REAL clwb rygbi the MoM buys a jug for everyone else!

Um, it's actually not spring, dude.

It is in Australia! "Full of the Joys of Spring" is an expression meaning overtly cheerful and happy.

I, meanwhile, get a hangover from TAKEAWAY food (its the carbs...)
Is that twin-carbs...     ... and an overhead cam?   :D
