I like to crossdress and I have discovered the Lolita movement. Let me explain what that is exactly is….

It is a fashion subculture from Japan that is highly influenced by Victorian and Edwardian children's clothing and styles from the Rococo period A very distinctive property of Lolita fashion is the aesthetic of cuteness. This clothing subculture can be categorized into three main substyles: 'gothic', 'classic', and 'sweet' Many other substyles such as 'sailor', 'country', 'hime' (princess), 'ero', 'guro', 'oriental', 'punk', 'shiro (white)', kuro (black) and steampunk lolita also exist. This style evolved into a widely followed subculture in Japan and other countries in the 1990s and 2000s and may have waned in Japan as of the 2010s as the fashion became more mainstream
I also found out that it is not uncommon for girls to dress up their boyfriends and attend events as couples. And that practice is not shunned but embraced. I wish I was many years younger, as I would for sure get involved in this sub culture for sure

Here is a short video I made about Brolita's

Dude, first of all, Lolita fashion is based on Rocco France, not Victorian and Edwardian England. Those are distinct subgenres of fashion. Lolita is the Rocco one. I mean, you can take inspiration from whatever you want, but the distinction is important because neo-Victorians and neo-Edwardians are also a thing and they're not Lolita. Second of all, we don't need the term "Brolita".

Are we not going with Shota? Or Aristocrat? Like in Japan?

I mean that's what I've just always heard Lolita guys called and when I use it to refer to myself people tend to understand me. Like I really don't like taking feminized words and putting some dumbass male modifier on them. I don't wear guyliner and I don't dress brolita.

I pulled this off of Wikepedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolita_fashion
The first sentence states:Lolita (ロリータ・ファッション rorīta fasshon) is a fashion subculture from Japan that is highly influenced by Victorian and Edwardian children's clothing and styles from the Rococo period

You might want to take it up with those folks
