Awe.......glad to know others feel the way I do today....ugh
I almost made a thread this morning so it was perfect timing. Just too bad it had to happen to us all. I know I'll never be the same.

Losing a treasured pet is one of my reasons, as well. I know how you feel. Lost my dog last November. Today is the day I gave him for his birrthday :( Hurts like hell.

AWW..Im sorry...I love animals...and lost quite a few...but...while the pain of loss of horrid...I am sooo happy I had them....they can be truly a gift...

i dont' know but it's been a while. i'm not sure i will ever let myself get so hurt ever again.

Friday November 24, 2006. But it is being patch back together rather nicely now

The last time was a few years ago when I found out that the people you give your life to can hurt you more seriously. It is then you must make the decision whether you trust them again or you go to your other options.

The feelings of a truly broken heart...last spring.

Some seriously sad times...over the last few months...kinda ongoing...

No more. Not one more time. Nope. Done.

11.53 am, 2nd October, 2004. My husband died :rose:

:(...I'm so sorry...I know we talked before and I said that....but I just don't know what else to say. I just can't imagine it...hug hug hug. :(

I have another friend here...who lost her husband and it is still a devastating thing at times for her and it is very hard to be helpless to help people you care about deal with such losses. But it is so important to "be there" no matter how silent or tongue-tied or whatever. Just be there any way you can. :rose:

Thank you, Poppy
It does help to know there are people who will offer a hug at those times :)

I know that people most often expect others to "be over" the grief way sooner than is ever realistic...all kinds of grief. People want us to be over it...done...past it...ok now. How often does that really happen after the loss of someone so loved?

You know...it's funny...my broken heart was not "last" spring...it was 2 years ago...:)

Hmmm....sighs.
