Here's something I just thought up.

Lots of us stick to what we are comfortable with, in what we write and also what we read. There is a possiblity though that if we were to try something new - we might actually discover that we like it - and therefore Broaden our Horizons.

So here's the deal.

Your mission - should you choose to accept it, would be to look at the previous poster - and read the story of theirs that they choose for you to read. The story hasnt got to be an epic - say no more than 10k words - and not part of a series. Once you take that story you then post you've accepted and tell the next person which story of yours that you want them to read. Same rules.
Once you've read the story - you must leave feedback - starting with the words Broaden your horizons.

I'm not going to start - because that would seem self serving - but i'll jump in at some point if anyone is interested. The first poster therefore gets to get someone to read a story of theirs without having to read anything first. Maybe they will circle back later and go again.

Yeah, Ill play.

I am horribly stuck in my own category.
As the first person you get to nominate one of your own stories for someone else to read - then maybe later you could read a nominated story from someone else

Won't play at the moment as still struggling to get my April Fools story in under the wire. I'm all for a feedback chain thread.

I'm a little confused by where the broaden your horizons thing kicks in. Are we supposed to be choosing stories we don't normally read. If so well need some sort of category info and blurb/synopsis for it.

great question - Although I think emotional nailed it by posting the story and saying what it was. It's a romance. I guess you could just put the category and the story title.
Sorry @Emotional - can you repost - otherwise your post will get lost in the chatter.
