Hi y'all.

I had some stuff that I promised people I would do. PM's to sens, mails to read, stuff to write, and whatnot. But at the moment, I have no net acces other than at work. So it's gonna have to wait til later, and I won't be around much until the bloody ISP gets their behinds in gear and fixes it.

So until then, have fun without me. If you can.

I come out of the internet connection stone age tommorrow, and hope I DO NOT have as many problems as you, Lauren and a few others. Being smart though, and keeping the old connection for an extra week JUST in case. :D Life without internet? how terrifying.

Good luck, Liar. :rose:

I feel your pain! I signed up for broadband, expecting a lot from my ISP. However, as yet no broads.

Isn’t in amusing how the number of internet related problems a person has seems to be inversely related to how competent they are on a keyboard?

Lauren and Liar are considerable more than competent on a computer but seem to have internet related trouble routinely. Whereas I, who is less than marginally competent, almost never has internet problems. :D

Ditto, and I'm less computer literate than most third graders. Truth.

My broadband is almost flawless other than when it slows down or completely crashes. :D

Yeah, I would keep a modem connection too, if I only had a phone line.

#L @ work

Oh I am starting to feel your pain! And definately will be tomorrow since I was not bright enough to keep the phone connection for longer than 3 days!

Very long story about taking 2 days to order broadband because of previous scam artist tenents, but worse, it seems that cable on this side of the house had been rerouted, not just to a surrounding neighbors place, but quite far, FAR down the street.

Do you think previous scam artist tenets were providing cable for the whole neighborhood and charging a cheaper fee? LOL - far fetched I know, but how else does cable get REROUTED. lol

Sigh.

Uh, your a DUCK.

The fact that you can quack and waddle around on a keyboard messin up with your webbed toes has nothing to do with the ease of wirin the entire pond for hi-speed internet. Spell-check was invented for those with ruffled feathers and wet keyboards. Plus you are a disabled one-eyed duck, which prolly gets you priority.

Liar, hope you get it sorted out soon. I know the insignificant things like internet banking and bill-paying are nothing compared with the inability to surf for porn, my condolences to you.
