Sierra Gentry
Age 28

High school reunions.

Of course it was something that was inevible. And yes, she was sure she could have skipped it but she had already promised her best friend since first grade, Misty, that she would attend with her.

Yeah, ten years flew by just like that. It was amazing. Although, she mused, it would be fun to see what everyone had been up to. She was sure some of the people in her former circle would want to know what she had been up to.

Well, that was easy to answer. Sierra had hit it big since leaving high school. Country music superstar, Sierra Gentry, winner of 5 grammys and 4 CMAs, who was now working on her 5th studio album which was due out in a few months, life was going...ok.

She didn't think of her success as a blessing. She worked hard for it and her success was a result of it all. Sierra preferred not to live in Nashville but rather, made her main home in Colorado, outside of Denver to be exact. Far away from where she had grown up in Allen, Texas. But yet, here she was, back again for the reunion.

((OK, looking for a dominate male for this. Some ideas include perhaps and older teacher or the obvious, a classmate...maybe the spouse of a classmate. If you want to write this with me, please PM me with an intro post. Thanks!))

“She is such a bitch”

Alan Granham tried to resist the urge to glare at his wife from behind. She was busying preening her self in the mirror so he knew that he could technically get away with it. He thought about giving her the finger as well but instead decided to go back to fixing it black and red tie.

“Are you even listening to me Alan”

“Yes dear” He replied on automatic even as he rolled his eyes. She was only seeking validation and sure enough she went back to bitching her old classmate turned country super star with a vendetta that border lined on childish. He knew that half of the stories his wife said were bullshit and superficial the woman was no doubt nice (even if he wasn’t a fan of country music) but that didn’t mean the woman deserved what his “wife” said.

Ah his wife

He shouldn’t have married her shouldn’t have been so caught up in her beauty “She is a bitch” His friends cautioned every time she went to the bathroom but still he was a fool a blind fool. He was on the fast track to success as a lawyer and she was just what he need to turn heads and seduce his way to the top.

But it came at a price

“Well while she was off being a career woman I got married to a good respectable husband”

“If only you knew what that husband frequently masterbated to” Alan murmured smirking. His mind flashed back to his computer the videos of hot sex and light bdsm. She was a lousy lay that wasn’t getting him any where in the bedroom of course whenever he tried to hint at wanting more….. adventurous sex she turned her nose at it even though he had hear plenty of things in her past that hinted other wise.

All in all it was a situation that pissed him off and left him wanting for more. He didn’t know why he even agreed to go to this reunion it would be her showing off and acting like a bitch and him resisting the urge to throttle her

Yet here he was

“I’ll meet you there” He said ignoring her protest and stepping out of their hotel room.

“I need a drink” He murmured heading over to the elevator they were booked in a fancy hotel just outside of town which thankfully had a full bar. He headed over sliding into the bar stool and running hand through his short black hair as he ordered a shot of vodka and a beer to go with it.

Sierra and Misty were in Sierra's hotel room as she got ready. Although Sierra wanted to get all this over with, she didn't want to disappoint her friend.

Tonight, she had chosen to dress in a blue dress, nothing too flashy. She wasn't being conceited, she was just being truthful. This was about the class reunion, not her being a star at the gathering of her former classmates.

"Shall we?" She asked her friend as she grabbed her purse and the two walked out, followed closely by a bodyguard hired by the label for Sierra. She shook her head at the idea and felt she didn't need it. There were no threats against her. At least she didn't think so.

Although they were going to be early, Sierra didn't mind...she needed to get a drink before it all started. The fake smiles and fake friends she had remembered. Hell, only Misty had be the one true friend in her life.

Once they reached the ballroom, Sierra was immediately greeted by a few people who never talked to her in school but suddenly seemed like they were her best friends.

It went on like that for a good 10 minutes until she headed over to the bar...damn she needed a drink now.

At the bar, Sierra ordered a beer. She wanted something harder but knew she'd have to keep her wits about her tonight and just needed something to calm her nerves.

As she waited for her order, she noticed a man drinking by himself and he had looked at her and she smiled when their eyes caught, "I hate these things.." she said, not really to him but out loud nonetheless.

“Oh you have no idea” He murmured ordering his second beer and turning to face the woman he stopped his eyes widening slightly s he took in the pretty girl in front of him.

The pretty girl who happened to be his wives “rival”

“Uh hi” He said putting his beer down and extending a hand “my name is Alan it’s a pleasure to meet you Ms. Gentry I wish I could say I was a fan but I doubt you need any more people being fake” He said flashing her a somewhat charming smile before leaning back.

“Though your work is impressive I may not be a fan of country music but you are clearly very good how about I buy you that drink” He said nodding at the bartender and leaning back. He looked at her eyeing her up and down and trying to figure out why his wife was so threatened by her. Of course she was pretty prettier than his wife had ever been there was some thing in her eyes as well a glint of some thing heart felt and honest that warmed Alan for some reason.

Smiling at the man, Sierra grinned as she shook his hand, making sure her grasp was firm. "Please, just Sierra..I have too many others out there calling miss. It's nice to meet you Alan, and thank you for the beer." She raised the bottle in salute to him as she took a small sip.

"Yeah, there are a lot of fakes out there...I can't believe I went to school with most of them...." she took her second sip, "Oh...forgive me if I can't remember, but were you part of the class too? Or are you here with someone?"

Not that it matters... she thought to herself as she admired the man in front of her. In the music industry, Sierra was surrounded by handsome men and she was never really interested in them. They were too set on their career, just as she was. Hell, the marriage population in the music industry was always just what you could find that best suited your look at the time.

“Its okay pretty girl like you probably wouldn’t remember some one like me” He joked before taking a sip of his beer “Actually I am here with some one sadly” He said bringing up his hand to show his wedding ring “actually the person I am here with is a big fan of you” He said his voice dipping into sarcasm a little bit.

“Isabella Frasier” He explained “I am here husband Alan Graham I don’t know how you put up with her in high school if she is any thing like she is know” He said the beer making him a bit more honest than he probably should have been.

Sierra almost choked on her beer.

Isabella.

Wow.

Yeah, she remembered her. She was the head of the cheerleading squad and of course, dated the captain of the football team. Pretty standard stuff in high school.

One thing about Isabella was that she was also the school slut. Wow.

As Sierra studied Alan, she had a puzzled face, she was sure. Why would someone as nice as this man be married to Isabella.

But yet, that was a long time ago, perhaps she had changed? Although by Alan's demeanor, it didn't seem like it.

"Wow, sorry about that. I remember Isabella."

Yeah, Sierra did remember. Remembered the way Isabella teased her and ridiculed her and the way she dressed. Sierra's family didn't have much money growing up, and Isabella's did. So, Sierra lost herself in her music. Hell, if one really looked at it, it was Isabella's doing that made Sierra work hard at becoming famous.
