I guess the this is one of the many failings for that day.

Oh, the bi-partisan senate commission left out the complicity of house and Senate GoP leaders on that day, including the President's complicity....to make it non-partisan.

This is kind like saying Derek Chauvin's knee on the neck of George Floyd would be left out to not inflame the public outrage of murdering a citizen so we could get to the bottom of the incident.
