Brides, Cheerleaders, schoolgirls et al

Hey all,

this is another of my strange authorly questions.

I was considering doing a story with a bride & bridesmaid getting it on. I know a lot of people enjoy fetisistic stories with girls in particular regalia, be it a bride or a cop or what have you.

When I sat down and looked at the idea though, I ran into a problem. How much description of a character's attire is enough without being over kill? I don't want to write exclusively to a small segement of readers who love a girl in her wedding dress, but I don't want to gloss across it with such a wide brush that there is no enjoyment factor for those who do.

I know Oggs writes targeted stories. I was hoping he and anyone else who had delved into these particular waters had some advice?

Depends on the characters, Colly. If THEY are into the attire in great detail, then you must describe it so.

For me -- if it were MY wedding & I was having a go at one of my bridesmaids -- well, the color, fabric, and design (in broad strokes) would be plenty. However, I'm not a "girly girl." Do what's important/significant to your characters.

I would think, if it took place at the actual wedding, you'd have to have at least some detail about getting out of those damn wedding dresses. I swear, they're designed to make losing one's "virginity" (it's a wedding night, c'mon y'all ) as difficult as possible.

...all those little pearl buttons down the back with the loops.....

Of course, they could just hook those big ol' skirts over their arms and have at it.

Attention to detail that my be involved with the more salacious aspects is a good place to focus. Ex: a long row of buttons down the back of the dress that will later be unbuttoned, one by one exposing an inch of skin at a time...describing a low or lacy neckline that offers hints of what is beneath that's catching the attention of the other... a lacy garter that the bridesmaid puts on the bride's leg, slipping it up her stocking with her teeth...

It depends.

There are some who are attracted to the virginal white and the ritual defloration; some who like the clothes, the materials and the dressing and undressing; some who like the wedding rituals themselves - the cake, the throwing of the bouquet, the bride's garter etc; and some who want to vicariously experience a perfect wedding day and night...

Whichever you choose - some will be disappointed.

The idea of the bridesmaid(s) eating or deflowering the bride before the groom gets there has been told several times but is well worth doing again.

Colly, be it wedding, prom or ball gown, I love the fantasy of being in one and having some type of sexual experience without losing one bit of clothing but my knickers. I love the idea of having all that frothy cloth being pushed up and out of the way and a bloke plunging into all the ruffles and lace looking for my mute mouth. (Rustling fabric is sensual to me.)

Just my idea, maybe I'll write it myself .
