It's a LOT harder for countries to confiscate Bitcoin when they are overthrown and/or have to go into exile.

The chocolate and coffee growing nations will be welcome in the League of the Americas (or choose a better name). Canada has some lumber, maple syrup, oil, etc. Argentina is pulling out of a decades long period of self-destruction and could become a growing regional power. Mexico...will need more time to unfuck itself, maybe centuries.
No need to choose between them -- BRICS is not a military alliance.
