Let's begin by not shouting, okay? There are stories featuring characters that have 3 to 4-inch cocks, and it tits in the size range of A to C. Because some writers want their characters to be the best, they tend to give them ultimate features. In the in, it's all fantasy. Enjoy your reading.

my bad

I agree with jakk to a certain extent. I know I've started reading some stories that start off extremely well and get my interest but when I come across a woman with gigantic tits or a guy with a huge dick, I quickly lose interest in the story. Unless of course those enormous body parts are some how integral to the story. More often than not they are put there as some type of window dressing as if nobody would be interested in a story unless the heroine has boobs the size of basketballs.

But I thats just my opinion, I appreciate a little realism (but not too much) in stories.

I agree

I agree in my opinion if the story is well written then the man and women of the story don't need to be huge to make the story better.

In some I have read else where the hugness actually was the downfall of the story.

I try to present realism in my stories, and that usually means less-than perfect bodies. Off the top of my head I've only written one story about a girl with big breasts, but she was based on a real person so I felt justified. Other than that, 2 A-cup women, a couple of C-cups...... I dunno what else (I've only got a few out here.)

I also get annoyed with the perfect bodies/gigantic boobs/massive dicks. I understand the fantasy aspect of it, and sometimes that's great, but sex isn't necessarily sexy. I'd rather read something sexy about 2 phsically average people than something un-sexy about a pair of swimsuit models.

Now WATCHING is a different story......

Please don't forget...

That most people probably write out their own fantasies within their stories. It may get boring to YOU when you read 5 or so stories where the characters have "perfect" bodies, but to that author it may have been a thrill to write!

The best advice I can think of is to write your own stories catered to what YOU like, or (politely) ask for/post a "story idea" thread suggesting what you'd like to read in a story!

:)

Normal people aren't interesting. For one thing, there are billions of them. How mundane can you get?

Although big breasts aren't the only way to be abnormal, they also serve the function of being a major fetish item. So you can see how they're useful.

That's so true. So what if my characters look good or have big tits or long cocks? It seemed to me when I first joined up at Literotica sooo many years ago (was only a year or two back but it seems like forever :D) that this was a fantasy site, where one's deepest dreams and darkest desires were able to be expressed.

I don't know though sometimes if this really goes over all that well with the readers though... for the most part, I get positive feedback from my work, but of late I got one bit of feedback for Naughty Boy! Ch. 4 that threw me for a loop.

This female said that the fact that my main character had a 9" cock took the realism away from my story, that in her opinion was otherwise one of the best stories on Lit.

It's got me thinking about alot of things, namely the size of my male characters' penises and the busts of my female characters' bosoms.

Should I tone things down and make it all more balanced and life-like? Or should I stay true to my own way of things and just keep things fantasy-like and 'unreal'?

Other people's opinions on the issues I've raised would be appreciated. Thanks alot for reading, I know... it's a pretty bloody long post!

Have a goodone all, and fond regards to all!

9inch

i dont mind if the story character has large dicks or boobs if it fits into the story but it seems like more lately that all the stories have to have superhuman proportions. i know this is fantasy but could the writer just say she was well endowed or he had a large penis not she has 38ddd's or he has a 20" cock it to me at least takes away from the story not the realism even just im tired of knowing the exact cup size or length in every story.

Hey,

I agree, no one needs to know the exact measurements... just what they're doing with them! I have... large breasts but in my stories I just say they have nice breast or a beautiful cock... and what they're doing with it... all those numbers can throw the imagination off... mine anyway. AND I HATE MATH...lol!;)

As soon as I see any measurement numbers in the text, whether it is penis size or cup-size, I switch to another story. It is okay to have characters with "larger than life" body parts, but there are words to describe them. For the beginning, check out your thesaurus' alternatives for "large".

"IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR THE WOMAN OF THE STORIES TO HAVE NORMAL SIZED BREASTS. IM NOT SAYING THEY HAVE TO BE TINY BUT WHEN I READ THAT THE WOMAN HAS 80ZZZZZ's IT KIND OF TURNS ME OFF."

For goodness sake please tell me where all these stories are!

I have real problems finding enough stories about women with 80 inch breasts. :)

Well, seems a few of us have strong opinions about this topic, at least there seems to be more to this than I really thought! :D

It's real good from a writer's point of view to hear how cup size and dick size is recieved from the readers.

I myself had always thought that if you were capable of tying in the size of the man's appendage or the bust of a woman's bosoms into the story and keep the theme going, it was a good thing for the tale and the readers, with a general size now in their heads, would be appreciative... was this wrong of me to think this way?

I don't know... the jury's still out in my mind. Will check back in a few days. Keep the opinions coming! :p

the nice thing about measurements is that you can give a very accurate description. Really though, I think it would be better if you used better language to give the reader an idea or let the reader's imagination decide how large they are. Simply say that they are nice, or well rounded, well endowed, nice curves (for women). Simple things that aren't specific, you can then let the reader's imagination take care of everything and they'll like it anyway.

Fair enough, I'm thinkin that's the way it's going to be from now on... thanks! :)

I submitted a story called "Tomboy", which was rejected because I did not explicitly state the age of the female character. I like the reader to make up their own mind about such thinks. I want the reader to imagine the character in different ways. But, I inserted "18 years old" and the story was approved.

Maybe the site owners "don't want people to insert 16 years old", etc., on their site then?

That's pretty strange though, in my opinion, to have a story rejected for such a reason.

If there wasn't any overt or covert attempt by the author to make the character underage, then what's the harm done? It's all , baby!

So Lit wants the stories to have SOME form of explicit, clearly-defined detail (ie age of parties involved) because they don't want any confusion about the legal age of the characters, but the readers seem to want to make up as much of the 'nitty-gritty' details (ie bra cup-sizes, penis length etc) themselves...

Is it just me, or is this just getting a little too weird? I might end up combining a bit of detail with a bit of purposeful obscurity with my next submission, and see how people react to things from there.

I agree with you there, I think that really it should be up to the reader, you know? because everyone who reads stuff will imagine it differently.

nice to know i've changed your writing style, really though, I'm not much of a writer, I just like to read and a lot, mostly scifi/fantasy, some erotica, which is why I'm here . . . duh, but I think writing style is very important, I've read a lot of stories with typos and stuff, it's really off-putting.
