I read in the Literotica BDSM section, a story loosely describing using ordinary household batteries for nipple stimulation. Since I am not an electrician and know little about it, I was wondering if someone could give me some reliable information, or someplace I could obtain the information. Thanks

I'm not quite sure wheer to get the information, but you would probubly get more responces in the BDSM forum.

On the topic though I would be careful, a battery doesn't hold enough power to cause any serious damage is my understanding but I would say to be very careful. Definatly talk to your significant other well before this, weither she is the recipient or if he is just an observer (or not involved at all, it's just good to keep the SO involved).

;) Thanks for the concern and the advice. My sub had read something on this also and was interesting in trying it. We have experimented with many things, but electricity is something we know nothing about.

Ordinary Household Batteries -- AAA, AA, C, D, and Nine Volt -- don't have enough "power" to do anything life threatening, but they CAN cause permanent nerve damage under the right circumstances.

As a child, I learned about Arc-Welding by practicing with a Six Volt Lantern Battery and a couple of bare wires.

If you know nothing about Electricty, then do a LOT of research before you start applying it to sensitive areas of the body that you want to remain sensitive.

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking about using a toggle switch that is spring loaded to disconnect the batteries when released. I wouldn't under any circumstances hook it up without doing some research. That is why I posted my question on this site. Many people have told me that this site is a wealth of information, and you folks are proving that, without a doubt. Thanks again.

I have asked my husband who is an electrician about this and his only fear is that you use a battery with too high of a volt. Second of all he said if you do use a battery make sure you put a cloth or something between your nipple and the clamps so that you dont BURN the skin.
Good luck, but let her do it to you first!!! lol!
