After 13months, I stopped breast feeding my daughter. With my son it was about 10 months. The poll doesn't have enough fexiblity. I answered 2 years for the poll.

That's right Lex. The two adults will be mother & son but the
extended breastfeeding period was not a sexual situation
but rather a bonding with fond memories for each. The son
will be 18, of course, before any other aspect of the relationship
occurs.

The problem with polls on any website is you cannot see the person who is voting. How do you know some sad individual isn't trying to sabotage your vote? By this I mean how do you know if, out of all voters, all are female?

Anyway, I am an 18 year old male. I was breastfed for four years as a "baby". I have voted.

Just something for you to consider. Don't trust your vote as much as the reliance you should place on your instincts.

I want to strongly emphasize I will not be writing anything
that involves underage sex/child abuse. The breastfeeding
aspect of the story will show the difference between the
son's mother and wife on this issue. This issue, itself, is
just one of many personality/intellectual differences between
the two women, with the son having his fond memories and
present loyalties in conflict with one another.

How will it get resolved? Don't know yet, that's why the poll,
comments research and readings in other areas between the
problem, for some sons, the relationships between mothers,
daughter-in-laws/wives/husbands and sons.

Breastfeeding first hand (or breast haha)

I breastfed my daughter (who is now 16) for 13 months until she weaned herself. My son (who is now 7) breastfed until he was three years when I finally had to wean him. I wouldn't have shoved a bottle in their face or missed this time for anything in the world!

Believe me, only those who have experienced breastfeeding their own child will know that it has everything to do with being close and loving with your child and *nothing* to do with some sort of sexual gratification.
