I do not know much about it beside I would never do that.

One type is filled with salty water, the other with silicione, I think. Cheaper variants are perfect hemispheres, more costly ones are more human like.

I think she's asking about the procedure, not the implant.
In a nutshell, implants are inserted through incisions, either in the armpit, navel, around the areola or beneath the breast. They are placed either over the muscle, or under.

There are also ones which use your own flesh - typically from the thigh region. It’s typically done in reconstructions, post mastectomy, but I believe it can be used for augmentation as well.

Not everyone who has implants does so of their own volition.

My trans girlfriend chose silicone gel implants called Motiva which became available in the US in late 2024. Anyone familiar with the old style implants needs to see these things. They move with gravity and body position like real breasts and feel quite similar. I highly recommend them.
