i went through something similar after 16 1/2 yrs of marriage.

Unlike Batter, I say follow your gut, hon. I did after 5 years with the wrong guy. It was well worth it, and I felt amazing relief. If you want to talk about it, PM me... I'm newly single, too, so I can empathize.
