The Honda robot ASIMO is on display here at the Pacific Science Center, and I went down to check it out a couple of days ago.

It's pretty amazing, really, the thing can climb stairs, balance on one leg, even dance. Watching it go through its routine, I found it hard to believe that there wasn't a four-foot tall guy inside.

It was also kind of creepy -- Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics kept flashing through my mind, and I kept imagining the thing charging into the crowd and ripping off people's arms and legs.

They only gave me a Honda AndoSistant, at work.

Oh, sure it gets low upkeep.

I'll join in and help you with your own hijacking of your thread. Or is it high jacking? Oh, that's right, the second is something else for a different forum on LIT.
