Cardea MIT's new five-foot-tall robot has three arms, and can open doors, but it better not show off its skill for any feminist.

The Honda robot ASIMO is on display here at the Pacific Science Center, and I went down to check it out a couple of days ago.

It's pretty amazing, really, the thing can climb stairs, balance on one leg, even dance. Watching it go through its routine, I found it hard to believe that there wasn't a four-foot tall guy inside.

It was also kind of creepy -- Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics kept flashing through my mind, and I kept imagining the thing charging into the crowd and ripping off people's arms and legs.

Dear Quaz, I assume it's also a sheep substitute. MG

It has an Ovis Input, but according to the literature, the only available attachment is a pencil sharpener

This is not good!

______

Yeah, but can it masturbate?

I have recently learned that as of Oct. 24, 2003
I am no longer a Web writer. Anything I may get published online will not be wind up on a Web page. Even my ability to write E-mail is in question.
If you want to know how, and whether this change may affect you, just check here.

Thanks, Quaz, interesting article and fine other site which I'll read more of later. I was happy to see 'coterminous', a fave word I have not heard or used in a while. It was like running into an old friend.

Hello, Quasi,

I'll join in and help you with your own hijacking of your thread. Or is it high jacking? Oh, that's right, the second is something else for a different forum on LIT. ;)

Anyway, I am just forever grateful that the author of the linked page did not feel it was necessary to give us the 'overview', my least favorite hijacked word.
