mmmm.... ramen and a cherry coke at 8:50 am on a tuesday morning. i've been up since 6:30 (gym, homework, shower, homework, lit, homework, noticing a trend anyone?) and don't have to be anywhere until 11:10. sometimes college sucks, but at moments like this i feel extremely peaceful. it's simple, but it's nice.

okay, your turn. share an unexpectedly pleasant moment you found yourself in over the past few days.

In my new job I'm just walking around taking snap shots of houses. Yesterday I was in one of the new golfing communities, big fancy houses, that all look the same.

I was walking around by myself, sun shining. Watching the birds playing and the squirrels in the trees. And it's so quiet, because everyone's at work. It's just me and my camera for eight hours a day.

And it is so peaceful.

Lexie, Cherry Coke?

*shudder*

Just this morning, up @ 5:47 (make coffee, feed cat, make lunches, banana, shower, dress, grapefruit, drive to school, walk from there to office, check e-mail, check lit, lit, lit, lit); pattern?hmmm.

But the weekend past had a number of unusual (partially due to location) pleasurable moments: walking Connecticut Ave., N.W.; chatting on the phone with Lexilita, visiting with perky_baby, and just confering, conversing and otherwise hob-nobbing with my fellow wizards.

Ok I'm gonna admit it, though I thought I neverrrrrrrrr would....I kinda like being up early, drinking a coffe perusing Lit, spending time with my love.....Shhhhhhh now don't tell anyone ok.....lol:p

I am a die hard night owl if this gets out I'll be drummed out of the society lol........

Night Owl

I work the Grave yard shift myself, 9pm till 7Am. I have to admit I love the fact that I can sleep the mornings aways, and spend the afternoons buming around. The greatest thing I enjoy is coming home in the morning and having a beer or 12, along with some cold pizza, and ESPN to top it off. Its moments sush as these that I realize that being a bachlor isn't that bad of a life.

There's only one thing better from Michigan than the cherries - blueberries.

Blueberries And women. There's only two things from Michigan better than their cherries - blueberries, women, and beaches.

Three; only three things from MI are better than their famous cherries - the beaches, the women, and the blueberries and the climate.

Well damn, Richard, I do like the cherries... but ya gotta admit that they're more of a Traverse city thing, but once you add in the Detroit cars and the Grand Rapids furniture and the Battle Creek cereals and that spectatular bridge between the peninsulas, plus the women, the beaches, the climate, and the blueberries you're just living in one splendid state there...

My happy moment recently is having memories of Michigan tumble through my mind. Ah, yes, at the tender age of 14 falling hard for that bikini-clad woman-child from Detroit... can I go back now? My Tuesday's looking rather bland compared to getting her to say "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" during a game of charades on a warm summer evening... :) :D :)

My secret is out <grin>

Now my secret is out...yes I live in Traverse City....10 day cherry festival and all

The town on twin bays of Lake Michigan......lots of beaches...lots of tourists........

Oh yes and blueberries...cherries and blueberries taste best eaten from a shaved pussy

Climate...well we have our days <grin>

Cool, dude. I used to live in the coke capital of the US.;)

alright, i'm off for the day. this is what i'm listening to right now, may it set the mood for the rest of the day:
Let It Be
Lennon/McCartney
When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, Let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper Words of Wisdom, Let it be

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper Words of Wisdom, Let it be

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

take care, kiddo

The Beginning of my Day

After a Friday night, wine dinner sponsored by "Opus' I awoke early, slipping out of bed while the sky was still dark. Changing into my running shorts and a shirt and down to the sand. It was one of those warm mornings in Southern Cali. The air seemed to caress my body as I ran by the ocean. The sky to the east began to take on a myriad of color (colours for the Brits....wink). One hour later.........finding MY SPOT on the sand, stretching and letting my mind...........drift........the weeks business decisions vanquished for this moment..........allowing the warm morning sun, the salt air, and the scents of the Pacificto fill my senses.......
