There are some good lines in that movie. Though I can't remember many of them.

I thoiught Ally Sheedy (sp?) was the cutest actually. Especially after she cleaned up.

I totally agree.
I watch it often.
(more often than I should)

"I want to be an Airborne Ranger"

Lot of good lines in that movie.

One of my favorite movies. Always puts me in a good mood :) I love that scene where they're all taking their lunches out and inspecting each others and Ally Sheedy is concentrating so hard on her "unique" creation that she doesn't realize everyone's watching her.

Judd Nelson was just soooooo cool. What a bad-ass. ;)

Hi Zammie!!!

Yes! That is a great scene! LOL...she's a good lil actress.

I went to a Catholic grammer school and we had to watch that movie and write a report on it. We had to choose a character and write about how we can relate to them. I choose the strange girl too.

Good to hear that!

I identified with Ally Sheedy's character, too.

I've seen that movie so much, I probably could recite it.
*rolls eyes*

"demented and sad...but social."

strange-ness unite

yay for the weirdos...the misfits...outcasts....social rejects ...what have you!

I've seen that movie way too many times. I like the parts where Bender's giving Claire shit and makes her cry.

If it weren't for that movie I wouldn't constantly get..."Ya know you look just like that red head in the Breakfast Club, the one with the lips"

But I have to admit, I still think the movie is great!

"I wanna be an airforce ranger"

"You wear tights"

"I wear the designated uniform"

I always thought wrestlers had a strange sense of fashion. Kinda BatMan like.

but I dated someone like the Judd Nelson character and I think of David every time I see that movie! I always wanted to be the weird chick type too!

But isn't there a little of these characters in each of us?

:)

i absolutely love that movie, as well as just about all the other teen movies from the eighties. What can i say, that was my era.

I spent a long time thinking that John Hughs was a god.

Maybe that's why the movie is so appealing, because we recognize each char so clearly.

Another movie with some of the same genre that I enjoy is St. Elmo's Fire. And one I always think of when I watch these is Threesomes. Well, also because it's been the catalyst for some great fantasies :)
