Everytime these two teams get together it's a struggle to the bitter end.

Tonight was no exception. 15 inning game, won by the Twins. A double off the right field wall, runner scores from first, a play at the plate.

Man...what a wringer these two teams put me through!

And still...the Braves are winless in Minnesota. Arrrrgh!

:)

Brings back bad memories. I share your pain, Zam. I watched all 15 innings. Maybe tomorrow!

Yeah, Tommy is pitching tonight. This is good.

What a ballgame last night, what-a-ball-game!

Damn, I missed it. I have very bad memories of that fucking Foam Dome.

Isn't that where Lonnie Smith...............never mind.

Zam.................

Hometown team!!!!!!!WOOHOO!!!!!!
Gotta love the small payroll guys kickin' the arse of the lowly Braves(had to say that;) !)

Actually, either way,Braves or Twins, great baseball is always a pleasure to watch.
Any predictions on round 2 Zam?

I'm pullin' for the hometown boys again, but either way,I hope they both play good ball.I'd rather see a good game & the Braves win than a shitty game any day.

Well, since I have no one to go to the ballgame tonight (I have two tickets) I will go to my son's game. It's cheaper and the seats are better :p :)

Predictions? It will be another game decided by one run in the last at bat. It may even go extra innings again. Who will win? It's a toss up really. It is just destiny that each time these two teams meet a great ballgame ensues!

That is the magic of baseball! Something the owners, the players or anyone else can never take away or destroy!

Good luck to your kid tonight.Looks to be a good evening!

Go Twins woohoo. I was only 12 in 91 but damn I remember every moment of it. :)

Miles...oh man, that is a sore subject! I loved Lonnie, great clutch hitter, if a bit streaky. The amazing thing about that play was Lonnie was a veteran of several Word Series, and yet a rookie, Knoblauch faked him out! Amazing...but Lonnie was a bit spacey.

.......Ah but tonight, can you say "back to back to back"?
Was a sweet one!

Yeah! I missed most of the game, but I saw the last two innings, 11-0! Yes! Tommy pitched wonderfully. Why the hell did Cox take him out? Didn't we use everyone but Smoltz last night? I can't imagine Tom's pitch count was all that high...!?

But we won! Yeah! :D

Braves took 2 out of the 3 games. It got a bit scary near the end their, but Smoltz bore down and got the job done. Thank god that series is over! It was fun though! LOL.

Tonight's game was a close call there in the ninth. But ya gotta have faith in Smoltz. He's awesome this year.
I agree though, I'm ready for the Braves to get out of there!
Who's next? I didn't look at the schedule.

Yeah, the Boston series should be good too. I'm looking forward to August when they come out here. It's close to my b-day, so as a gift, I'm getting tickets to all three games. I'll be the one wearing the Braves shirt among all those dang Padre fans. :)

Oh! But you get to see Thumpah! Kelsko...he's still my favorite Brave. He's so good, and he's been having a great career. I couldn't believe we let him go!

Enjoy the games, they should be good!

Yep, I think Lonnie chased a few white lines during his career, and they weren't basepaths.. His nick was "Skates" because he tripped over his own feet or something like that.
