OOC: I am looking for one or two females to be compaions in a little adventure I had in my mind. Please feel free to post or Pm me for the role.

IC:

Zach moaned lightly as he woke up from sleeping. He opened his eyes slowly and soon found himself staring up at the open sky.

"Wha..Where am I?"

He tried to get up, but foundt himself unable to move. He struggled a little more as he looked down to find himself wrapped in a blanket with several ropes around it. A soft bird-like chirp was heard a as small blue dragon flew towards him and he smiled.

"Shell! Can you come and untie these ropes for me?"

The little dragon hovered over him and shook her head for a moment.

"Then try and burn them off."

Shell nodded with a chirp before she blew a small jet of fire on the blanket. The rope and material caught quickly, going up in a few seconds. Zach yelped at the heat and rolled away quickly to keep from getting burnt. He rubbed his hands together for a moment and looked down at himself. Someone had put his blue scale body armor on him, along with his blue scale mail leggings and metal boots.

"Please try not to burn me. "

He gave a smile to the little dragon who chirped softly. He saw a pile of stuff nearby, a backpack, bag of gold, his sword, and a letter on top of it. He grabbed the letter and read it aloud.

Dear Son,
I decided to boot you out of the house. It is time for you to strike out on your own and become a man. Al you ever did when you were home was sleep, eat, and practice your sword-fighting. You will not be allowed back until you make a man of yourself.
Jospeh

He sighed and grumbled softly.

"Gee, thanks dad. Ah well, nothing to do now but continue onwards."

He picked up his things, pulling on the small backpack, strapping the sword around his waist, and threw away the letter. He looked around for a few moments before he foundt a path leading through the forest somewhere. Shell followed after him, keeping close as she hovered around him. After a few moments of walking he suddenly heard a woman's scream cry out from further up ahead. He frowned and broke into a run, jumping over some bushes that were blocking the way to the screaming girl.

OOC: Hope it's okay that I just post?

Bree had been walking through the earthy path for a quiet a while without interruption. Well, okay, so it wasn't quite a path, but it was an acceptable enough substitute. She was clad in her simple floor-length maroon dress, which was now ripped and shredded along the hem, with sleeves that ended approximately at her elbows. There had been, at one time, excess fabric that cascaded from that particular nitch as well, but it now looked quite similar to the bottom line of the dress, consisting more of ripped strips than any single piece of fabric. Walking through the woods was doing horrible wonders for her clothing.

But she had no choice: the girl was running (or walking, rather) away from home.

Thus far she hadn't had any real hinderance, aside from the rather sad state of her outfit, and the probable twigs, leaves, and other evidence of nature that had lodged itself into her braided auburn hair. That was, until she had come upon some extremely large, ugly creature in the middle of her 'path'. Or, at least, she had thought it was a monster at the time. It obviously wasn't now, simply a log that had situated itself in her way along with some rather ominous shadows. But all the same, she had let out a shrill scream as soon as she laid eyes on the intruder.

Once she had realized her mistake, her cheeks flushed and she rested her palm against a neighboring tree to steady her balance. She rolled her green eyes and let out a sigh in mild annoyance at herself. It didn't occur to her that someone could have actually been within hearing range of her, and was extremely startled when the boy (around her age) came bounding into the semi-clearing after hurdling over a line of small bushes.

"Oh...um, hi," she offered, giving him a sort of grin and biting the corner of her bottom lip. "I-I didn't realize..." Then she noticed his armour and sword (somehow completely missing the flying animal behind him), and tilted her head to the side quizzically. "Are you fighting creatures in the forest?"

Aurilia took a deep breath with her arms outstretched in the sunlight streaming into the clearing of the forest. She absolutely adored these outings. Aurilia was a muse, and when things were quiet and boring, she liked to take human form and spend some time meeting people.

Aurilia had observed the horrors of war and fighting, they brought great sadness to all, but luckily she didn't have to encounter much of that. She tended to stay in secluded, quiet areas near towns she knew to be peaceful. Also, even though she was in human form, she still had many special gifts.

Aurilia's human form was enough to stop your heart. She had almond-shaped jade-colored eyes and medium-length, straight, luxurious, silver hair worn half free and half in a loose braid. She had medium height, about 5 1/2 feet, but the thin elegant shape of her body made her seem 10 feet tall. She had the smoothest, softest skin, revealed by her thin-strapped sleeveless gown of crimson and violet that hung in jagged edges around her bare feet.

Aurilia had the ability to quietly go anywhere, remaining entirely unnoticed if she so desired. But if she wanted you to see her, you were astonished at her beauty. If she looked into your eyes, she could melt your heart and make you fall in love on the spot. Her soft song-like voice brought warmth and comfort to anyone's soul, a simple touch of her gentle fingertips could bring a person to new heights of ecstacy they had never and will never again experience. Aurilia's entire purpose of existence was to inspire, to bring happiness, contemplation, knowledge, feelings, emotions and expression to those who could not find it for themselves. This made humans, for example, particularly vulnerable to her charms as they are a very emotionally capable yet mostly repressed race.

Aurilia heard a minor commotion behind some trees and decided to go investigate. She saw a man and a woman, he with shield and sword, she with what appeared to be the only clothes she owned at the time, although she did not appear poor. Aurilia was very observant and quickly realized that both of these people had recently been displaced from their longstanding homes, whether their choice or another's. She decided to observe for a short while before making her presence known. As she hid behind a tree, as what usually happened in the forest, a couple of singing birds landed on the branches above her, and a couple of small cute hairy creatures played with each other between her bare feet.

OOC: Sorry it took me a few days to reply. I got a little busy with RL.

He had fully intended to take on whatever creature it was which was attacking the girl in trouble. He wasn't ready for the scene he had encountered instead, drawing his short sword as he leaped over the bushes. The dark blue dragonscale armor he wore was light enough to allow him plenty of mobility, but strong enough to protect him from most blows. It was naturally enchanted to give him some protection against fire. He had more armor pieces at home, but the dragonscale chest armor was all that his dad had decided to outfit him with. The rest of his oufit consisted of dark brown leather pants, black leather boots, some leather shoulderpads, and a short sleeve wool shirt. His dad had packed him a backpack of some supplies, but he did bother to check it out. That he dropped before leaping over the bushes.

He stood up quickly in a defensive position with his sword angled up in front of him. He glanced around quickly for any sign of supposed sanger and then blinked when the girl had asked him if he was hunting monsters so casually. He chuckled sheepishly as he put his sword away in it's sheath at his side.

"Um..it's kinda a long story. Actually I'm a little lost at the moment. What are you doing out here?"

Shell flew in view a few moments later, chirping excitedly as she looked for any signs of danger. Her rainbow eyes glanced around for a few moments before the little dragon picked up the scent of their unseen observer. She chirped once before rushing off in Aurilia's direction before Zach could stop her.

OOC: No worries, I've been out of town. ;)

He seemed a little surprised by her question, and after doing a double-take she realized it probably was very sudden. And random. Bree sighed, knowing that she was always like that; not thinking things through before she said them. At least she hadn't made a fool of herself. Yet. She hadn't noticed the girl hidden in the foliage, and didn't even realize she was there when the bird/dragon/thing flew off toward her. Even though she came from a very prestigious family, Bree didn't know much about animals. They just weren't there around the castle.

Good Lord, she must be out of her mind. Roaming around in the forest without protection; and naive as she was, it still crossed her mind that that must be a bad idea. She gave a hopeful glance at the boy (for no reason, really) before realizing she had been spoken to.

"Actually I'm a little lost at the moment. What are you doing out here?"

Well that could be quite a lengthy story as well. One that involved evil stepmothers (no, really!) and missing fathers. It had been over two months since she had last seen Thomas Sutherland, and either he had completely forgotten his daughter existed or was detained in some way because she had yet to hear from him, either. And, being the worriesome daughter she was, Breana Sutherland promptly decided to go look for him. She just hadn't thought about what that might entail.

"Um... I'm... Looking. For someone." That was to put it mildly, not to mention she probably looked like an idiot right now with tattered clothing and screaming about a log in the middle of a forest. Her slender legs and feet rocked her body back and forth almost unnoticably, and she gave the boy a sort of lopsided grin that even she would have had trouble believing. He was handsome, and looked well-enough protected. Perhaps he could help her on her journey to... wherever she was going?

Aurilia laughed as the little flying dragon, whose name she knew immediately, came over and began to circle around her. Her laughter drifted like a beautiful song to the two travelers, who now noticed Aurilia for the first time. They turned to see her just as she raised two fingers, allowing Shell to land on her hand. She moved her face in front of Shell's, staring into each other's eyes they had a silent conversation, Shell chirping in laughter and taking off again to fly around.

Aurilia then turned her gaze to Zach with a warming smile. "I like your dragon," she said simply, with a warm friendly tone.

Zach was getting confused by the turn of events with each passing moment. He hadn't expected to see a beautiful girl wandering around in the woods like this, let alone two. And the fact tha shell had taken to the second one so quickly made him chuckle for a moment. But then Shell was normally friendly with most everyone one.

"Thank you. She's more of a companion than a pet really."

He looked to the girl in the ragged dress once more tilting his head a little.

"Looking for someone? Well, the woods aren't exactly the best best for someone like yourself to go wandering laong in. Um.. will you excuse me for a moment."

He gave them both a smile before disappearing back into the bushes he had come from. He emerged a moment later with a dark brown leather backpack on his back.

"I almost forgot. My name is Zach. And of course the little dragon is Shell."

Trying it out :)

a couple thousand of years ago, when humans were not the main rulers of Earth, the planet was dominated by a powerful race of mages called Magros, themselves ruled by a king and queen magros. however, as humans, magros were full of greed and vanity, causing millions of deaths every year. Considering their weapons were magic produced by rune stones, their damages were of uncontrollable destruction.

no need to explain the numerous wars amongst the different kingdoms, one day the final war begun, which lasted numerous decades, quite a long bloody story, ended in emptyness, an explotion caused by rune magic caused black holes to appear round the planet, eating up everything on their path.

At present time, Falgor, prince of the occidental Magro kingdom, woke up astonished in the middle of what appeared to be a forest.

He tried to remember what had happened but didnt get any response, he just remembered some simple spells, checking in his black robe, and finding merely 10 runes.

Using as little magic as possible, he engulfed himself in an invisible cloak, and decided to explore his surroundings.

After hours of exploring, his bushy brows raised at the site of some grey hair, moving swiftly through the woods..."a muse.." he murmured, remembering his seeing some back home.

Falgor decided to follow it, curious of what amazing thing it might be after...perhaps any idea of where he had waken.

He stopped when she stopped, glanced over and saw a lost girl and a well protected "knight" right next to her, both with a lost look on their faces. Still at a distance he jumped once he saw the dragon fly near them...could he have spotted his cloack?

He sighed at seeing the dragon land on the muse`s hand and returned to reality, uncovering his cloak, thinking....What is this place?!
