I've been over to the other side. I was unimpressed with the number of political topics over there. Some of those people seem to care more about Septermber 11th, 2001 more than anything else in the world. It's insane. I couldn'ttake the levels of spam either, so I just don't go back much.

I really wasn't that brave, I just rode a wave on over to the GB and it's not all the bad. Granted, I probably don't post lots over there, but I am finding it invigourating! Also, I've only been genuinely insulted once...and as i was expecting the type of comment it was, it didn't bother me. Everyone else has been nice to me or indifferent to me, it's not as scary as you might think.

I like it over there. The AH is "home," but there's times when the posting pace in here is a little slow for me, or whatever, so I pop in over there and see what's up.

Plus, I don't get thrashed over there for telling someone to "fuck off."

It's pretty easy to pick and choose what conversations to get involved with and stay out of the fray. There are lots of nice people who post there, in my experience - which hasn't been that long, lol.

I venture over to the GB and read on occasion, mostly when I'm bored and looking for laughs. I don't post there, though- in most cases I find everything I could say has already been said by someone else and it feels better to agree silently. That, and I've had bad experiences with such debates in the past and don't want to repeat them. They are fun to watch, though, if one can keep up with the pace.
