I have had enough burns (involuntarily!) to not wanting to expose myself to it.
I have no tattoos either, nor any piercings.

Done by an experienced pro on a consenting adult... It is her choice.
From what I've seen, it looks like a bloody mess when a "branding iron" is used, and very controlled when it is performed with a piece of steel held in a vice grip.

Yes, it has been a while since I last logged in. I do have a busy job that requires a lot of my time so I don't have a lot of extra time to devote to checking messages regularly. I am currently discussing the branding issue with a much respected Dom. I do in fact still want it and plan on following through. I sincerely thank every one for their comments, even if not what I wanted to hear. I am researching cell popping as well as traditional branding. I will post again soon with updates on when I plan on having it done, or soon after it's done.

I've seen some really pretty cell popping done before. On Pintrest, of all places. The stuff I've seen in person has all been pretty basic.

There are people who are trained in branding techniques, I would definitely see a professional when it comes to this. Fakir is sort of the gold standard of training for these kind of body mods, but there are others.

There are also quite a few cell popping and branding groups on Fetlife. I'm not sure how active they are, but you can talk to people who have had this done, and possibly look at their pictures.

It sounds like you're on the right track, doing your research, and not rushing into anything. I hope everything goes well for you.
