I had someone today suggest that the bracelet I wear advertises me as a bisexual. Is this true? Have I been wasting this signal?!

I think this is a viable idea. Sorta like the old hankie-in-the-back-pocket idea from many years ago. I brought this idea up in another forum recently and got pretty much shot down; most of the naysayers saying that too many str8 guys also wear bracelets. But in the several weeks since then, I've been looking, and I bet I didn't see 1 or 2 guys in 100 wearing any sort of bracelet. I haven't gotten mine yet, but I think a paracord bracelet would work for me.

Other thoughts?

I wish it was that easy to spot a bi sexual man by him and/or I wearing a paracord bracelet!

Google says there is a bisexual pride flag that was created in the 90s, and that bisexual bracelets have the colors of the flag, either in synthetic materials or gemstones. Your's doesn't appear to qualify from what I can see in the picture.

Thank you for that bit of info, and you are correct - there are bi bracelets that incorporate the bi- pride colors; blue, purple and pink. Looks like you can get them on etsy.

I found a nice black paracord bracelet at Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday for just $3.99. I also got some short sections of colored paracord (blue, purple and yellow (couldn't do pink)) at a local crafts store. There are instructional vids on yoo-tube showing how to incorporate additional colors into a basic bracelet. Will try to post a pic when its done.

pocket hankies

There used to be a communication method in the 80s using
coloured pocket hankies that you would hang from a back pocket
of your jeans. Each colour symbolized the action (e.g. red might
mean anal, yellow might mean oral) and putting the hanky in
one back pocket or the other symbolized whether you were the
giver (e.g. left rear pocket) or taker (right rear pocket).

I understand that a single ear ring was also a sign, and again
the left or right ear would symbolize giver or taker.

Of course, this could all be just an urban myth, as I never
used either one (Sam)

Don't know about the bracelet but your avatar certainly does. Very nice!!

Perhaps we need a universal signal to let men know we are sissies in need. Other than the obvious make up and dress.

dew rag in the back pocket, ear in the right side ear, bracelet on the wrong hand--, either hand---, what the fuck.

Well of course it advertises you as bi. Bracelets are for women - and a "man's bracelet" is as silly as a "man's purse" or a "man's tampon."

At the same time, they are sexy as hell. Men try to mitigate the femme aspect with nonsense like paracord and leather, but it's still a bracelet - something to wear loosely around the wrist and attract attention.

And yes, the position of the wrist can accentuate the message which is undeniably " I like cock."

Let's all wear / show off our bracelets proudly. And tease each other to madness!
