Well Dionysus and I have a full anatomical screening via sonogram on our baby beanie on Monday. We are polling friends and family for opinions on the future baby.

I am 18 weeks on saturday and for those of you who go by this sort of thing I am carrying high, in the front and I am already showing. I have had severe morning sickness coupled with a craving for pickles, kim chee, saurkraut, lemons, limes and pickled onions.

Well, my mom had those cravings and also she could only eat mexican food...and I was a girl...>I still am one...oh jeez.

I voted girl. I cant give much of a reason other than that is what I clicked on. Have fun looking for a little pee-pee on Monday.

Well, all my kids have been carried similiar. I have one of each, plus number 3 is in the final countdown. (God, it feels good to say that)

I am going girl, cause that's what I want, so it is purely selfish reasons!

Keep in mind though, that they can't always tell. This lil one will be a suprise, simply because even at 28 weeks, the baby decided to be modest, and kept it's legs closed.

Did the sonagram get a good look at the head? What kind of chin does it have?

I haven't seen the little ones head since it was 9 weeks, and it still looked like some kind of gummi bear then. We'll know on Monday AM I will let you all know the results!
Tums and I are very very close friends, and I really am not eating all that I just want it, badly.

I couldn't guess. I was sick as a dog with my son and my twin girls and also carried high with both.

I am sure that the anticipation is killing you! I know I couldn't wait to find out the gender of my babies.

Dear Dixon,
Please keep in mind that my father runs a sideshow museum and he is hoping the baby is born healthy with either a tail or gills,based on that I decided not to give folks an option for other.
I will know the anwer hopefully in 24 hour. Thanks to all who have voted!

The baby is healthy and normal and kept it's little legs and ankles crossed the entire sonogram. I had almost an hour of being poked with a full bladder and still-nada,zip,no goods at all.
They will need to schedul another sonogram in about six weeks since they could not view the lower spine or kidneys. But they feel so far so good. I am so frustrated, I have boxes of baby clothes and I want to begin sorting and washing them.
But at least everything looks good with the baby, and I found new skill in the ability to hold my bladder for 90 minutes.

Darnit for his/hers legs and arms being crossed! Plenty of us here were rather anxious to find out!
