I don't know my incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server or my outgoing mail (SMTP) server.

How do I find that out? Thank you.

Nitelight,

There should be a page on you ISP homepage that lists both incoming and outgoing mail server IP numbers and names. It may be under customer service. If that doesn't work, just email a request for that information to your ISP's customer service dept. or to the sysop@??????.???, with the question marks being your ISP's email suffix.

Thats all it should take.

I may be completely off track here but just thought I'd mention that some web-based e-mail providers do not support POP-services.

e.g. Hotmail only made it available this year and only (for all I know anyway) in combination with Outlook. I doubt yahoo is available as pop3 either.

Don't feel too bad nightlight... I don't even know what the hell you are talking about.

Thanks all. I found I could do what I wanted to do without doing what I was trying to do, if that makes any sense. LOL

So, your saying you got done what you needed to do without understanding what it is you did to get the job done? Okay????

Have a great Thanksgiving, Nitelight!

He could run for president! oh wait, he got the job done anyway... nevermind.

Nitelite it is fucking killing me not to insert a smart assed response.

But hey, its thanksgiving.

Is this a one time offer or one of those never ending kinda gifts?
