Good luck Tiff, sounds like you werent happy with your scores last week, hope tonight goes better!

As to me, I have bowled in 5 pin leagues in the past. My other sports interests are not really in the organized catagory, I am a self-propelled enthusiast so skiing (telemark and cross country), canoeing, kayaking, sailing, hiking, cycling. Recently I have been preparing to participate in some triathalons so have been getting into swimming and will have to get back into running as soon as the snow melts.

:)

well i sucked and so did our team but oh well not much i can do about it. maybe next week :(

ex-bowler

used to bowl a lot Tiff, especially in your home town at Sport's Bowl and Eastern

Hey Lezli, I'm a kayaker too! Do you prefer whitewater or flatwater? I stick to the flat stuff myself. I don't do the rest of your ambitious sports either...wow! You are an active girl.

I like bowling but I wish I could score higher. I'm lucky to get 50 points in a game.

:) I do tend to keep busy! I have always done mainly flatwater paddling, and I especially love tripping, but so far I have only done some 10 day trips.

I am planning on getting into more whitewater as I live in Alberta and there is way more access to rivers than lakes here.

I can't remember what I have scored in 10 pin, but I almost got bonus points for the people in the waiting area, when my little fingers slipped out of the ball one time, but they all got out of the way in time! My five pin average used to be 147
I think.

I'm Queen of the Gutterballs. Honestly, I can't seem to keep the ball in the lane. Funniest was when I went back for a swing and when my hand came forward, there was no ball. It was rolling towards the seats behind me!

I suck at it but love playing it.

Uh.... I've made a bowling ball bounce down the lane once.

I'm with lezli. Outdoor sports are more my thing. Sea Kayaking, hiking, swimming, horseback riding and archery for the most part, and B's into cycling, both road and mountain biking.

Is it any surprise that lesbians are bad with balls?

Hey Terra, I like horses too, but don't own one, so seldom ride. Did a cool trip for a week once in behind Banff though. We were supposedly helping a park researcher track grizzly bears.

I almost went for my riding instructors cert when I lived in Canada, but then the OEF went and changed all the rider levels required to take it and now it's more or less just a cash-grab for them.

B's been cycling in Banff and loves it- wants to take me there one day. :)

I enjoy bowling only if I'm with someone who is as bad at it as I am, LOL! If the other person is doing well, I feel puny in comparison, heh.

Etoile, we should bowl together! Can we get the bumpers for the gutters? Maybe that'll help? ;)

I am not much of a bowler but I do enjoy gutterballs, depending on whose they are.

And to think you would have a built in tour guide too! Hmmmm, wonder who that would be ;)

Hey Etoile, you could try bowling on Wii-I am not a video game fan, but that one was fun, you actually bowl with the controller in your hand so you move around and stuff. Just make sure your drink is out of the way, because when you knock it, it doesn't make a virtual mess, it is real!

That's exactly what I need!

Lol, no kidding.

The only decent (if you can call that score that) game I had, my mother found that the more irritated I was, the better I bowled. She played my least favorite song over and over and over again. The lady there thought it was hilarious. It was just me, my brother, and mom there. It was a very slow day, so the lady cranked the song up.

Achey Breaky Heart.

I got even. *Evil Grin* Weird Al rocks!! ESPECIALLY his version of that horrible song! *snickers*

*snickers* I got my singing voice from her and my grandfather. They sing like angels (well, they would if I believed in angels but you know what I mean). My brother, who usually wins when the three of us play, lost big time cause he was laughing so hard, he couldn't see straight.

I still giggle when "Achey Breaky Song" comes up in my mp3 rotation.

Mom swore up and down she wouldn't do it again. Then, in the car, she got serenaded with "Jurassic Park" and a few other Weird Al classics.
