*Carvagio's almost human voice cut the silence of the endless night*

~Message for you Captain from Rudolpho Urgent Signal 2~

*Hearing RUdolpho's name Percy stood and walked from the bridge the fat slob grossed her out and hit on her every chance he got. She knew it was harmless he would not risk his business relationship with her Uncle I mean he was the only bounty Hunter in the galaxy that would work for the guy*

*Luc looked to the floating image of the AI* Lets hear it Car.

//The rather large pig of a man suddenly appeared larger than life on teh view screen//

Dante Old friend And Luc good to see ya. *Chows down for a second as usual* Got a job for ya. See apparently there is a rather high up Raider that has jumped ship taking some young girl of theirs with him and they are not happy nor apparently are our ever honorable bosses at Orchard Both groups have contacted me to put a bounty on his head and they young girls head too if she is a willing traveler with him. Be careful on this one Luc he apparently likes the ladies... at his feet. Also The Raiders say he has some sort of mind manipulation power or something and Orchard says she has it but he somehow uses it against her and everyone else. So you and your lovely team need to go andfind them. Last the raiders knew they were headed for Neptune Good luck and the bounty is dead or alive We will talk money as usual after you have the prisoners here are what they look for and I will say this if she is willingly with him that man is one lucky crook.

//With that said Rudolpho sends the images of a fairly stern looking Clean cut very business looking old man and a young girl could not be older than 20. She had long near thigh length dark hair with the colored streaks of blood red purple and white. Well toned legs stretched out from beneath the almost chainmail and leather looking short skirt a leather top that had only one strap to it formed over her slender body like a glove cut slightly to reveal more cleavage. Each picture of her to anyone that did not want to believe she was willingly with this guy would see fear to anyone else just there to do a job she was a con artist plain and simple//

*Luc studied the pictures and the weapons that the older man let be seen noting in his cloting the hidden weapons as well. Luc did not trust anyone except for Dante Carvagio and Percy. She did not even really trust her father since she knew he was the head of Orchard and she did not trust that the gilr was a prisoner of this guy. To here is was a clearcut case of two people for a hopefully hefty bounty dead or alive*

They should not be hard to bring down see you in a couple of days for our money Rudolpho

Dante glanced up at the all too life size image of Rudolpho, his inner thoughts of disgust in no way apparent to the outside world. What he wouldn't give to rid himself of any interaction with the slovenly figure on the screen.

He listened as Rudolpho outlined the basics of the recent assignment, his mind quickly returning to hopes of finding his son..most of these assignments/jobs were of little interest to Dante'..his personal agenda always first and foremost in his mind. This assignment caught a flicker of excitement, the mind control aspect was an avenue that he had considered with regards to his boy..could there be a link?

He listened more attentively and made a few mental notes..when the screen flashed to images of this supposed kidnapper he almost felt a jolt of recognition..as the screen changed to images of the young girl he definetly paid attention..so young looking, yet seductive and very alluring, he checked himself quickly..willing?..perhaps..caught up in a deadly mind trap, beyond her control..most likely!

At the end of the transmission Dante' signaled for his crew to ready for their journey..he returned to his quarters and lost himself again in thoughts of..what if's and maybe's.

*Luc watched him... she knew that look all too well. Dante and Persy were like brother and sister to her and she did not want to see him get his hopes up again over it being a Raider assignment nor did she want to have to put up with his Hero complex over that girl no matter how "innocent" the young woman tried to look. Luc placed a com call to her father to see what information that he could give her on this matter*

//The young woman hurried about her travel companions anger had risen against her once this day and she dare not let it happen again. The split lip was all too painful a reminder not to mention how sore and painful it was for her to move really after he had finished with her.//

*Several hours later a very loud electrical pop and several "Charming" words from Percy and she activated the com announcing to Luc and her Uncle that the Ships extended sensors were repaired and ready to be tested just tell her where to have them scan*

Hearing the loud electrical 'pop' and louder still expletives from Percy, Dante' roused himself from his revelling and joined Luc again, hoping that the electrical sensors would be functional. He was anxious to be on his way and get started on the new assignment.

"scan solar 5 Percy..give it a good run, we can't afford to be without extended sensors especially with the Raider involvement"

Dante' paced, waiting ,albeit non too patiently..his mind drifting a little to the sexy young woman he was supposed to rescue.

*Percys slightly pained voice comes back * Yeah yeah AFTER I get to the first aid kit

*Luc looks over* I know that look Dante. you hope she is some damsel in distress. Do I need to remind you of that female Dr that nearly kill you twice because of that mind set? *Luc was not a cold person just a realist with little trust of anyone or anything especially Raiders.*

*Carvagio began the scans within a few moments and reported that there were three Raider Cruisers chasing a ship matching the specs that Rudolpho sent him*

//Sagira sat by her "Protector" as she was brainwashed to think of him as while he tried to lose those that chased them ordered to disrupt their minds she tried her best to do as he asked*//

Giving Luc a pained look.."she did not almost get me killed, wounded maybe!"
Dante' knew that Luc was right but wasn't about to admit it to her, he couldn't then and he couldn't now.

Damn, three Raider ships on his targets tail. Dante' wanted to beat them there..firstly, he wanted to rescue this young woman, secondly, three Raider ships meant three opportunities to locate his son.

"Enough testing, shut it down and lets get on with it..any word as to the identities of the crew abord the three ships?"

*Luc sighed shaking her head and went back to the monitors* Three different "Houses" of Raiders insignia's on the ships now that could just be one house out there flying the spoils of infighting or these 2 have REALLY upset the Raiders. Car takes to low trace and follow the lead ship moving in as close as you can without being detected

*Rudolpho radioed in once more* Dante old pal I have a little more information on our targets the girls name is Sagira... sweet little thing right? Not quite... the Raiders have her slated to be sealed into a "wedding" if you can call what they do a wedding to some high up little punk in the Prime family or at least they say they are the prie family of the whole of the Raiders and they have survived for alot longer than the others. The Old man that has her is Edin Taslo A rather ruthless interregator in his prime in the Raiders and once before he became a Raider was a Highly reguarded Dr. I am hopin that she is not willingly with him cause I am thinking that I might just promise her my protection ya know *Laughs looks over* Well my next appointment has arrived farewell for now

Dante' grimaced, shaking his head..offer her his protection will he..what a pig Rodolpho was! He could see that he was going to have to save the girl from Rudolpho if and when he had managed to remove her from the animal that had her now!
He had heard of Taslo somewhere before..he racked his brain trying to remember the circumstances.
As for this arranged marriage..he wondered what and who was slated to receive this nymph!
This quest was becoming quickly rather full of surprises..
"how close to our target are we..within range to intercept?"

*Luc nodded then blinked watching two raider ship sollide as if odered to* Car what just happened?

*Communications offer that something was wrong with the crew of one and the other tried to radio for help seconds too late.

*Luc had a strange feelingabout this. Looking to Dante* We are almost close enough to intercept *Seeing the look on his face his hero complex had gotten worse... blasted Rudolpho for hinting that he wanted the girl for himself *SHaking her head she kept silent and monitored the last raider ship that seemed intent on persuit of the other ship now. Well at least the odds were better in their favor since the remaining runner carried only a couple of laser weapons if anything*

"Luc i want communication with the target ship..if she doesn't respond we will board and we will take over..ive had enough game playing, too many dead ,though good riddance to raiders"

Dante' was angered by the opportunity of perhaps finding his son abord one of the now dead raider ships..he hoped against hope that his boy had not been abord one of the ships..his gut told him no..

*Luc nodded* Hailing frequency open Dante

*The com came alive as someone tried to contact them. Sagira was ordered to ask for help against the Raiders make up whatever lie she could and make it be believed or else*

Can you help us? Please help us We are carrying medical supplies and injured people the Raiders attacked us... Please help. *Her terrified voice lending belief to it and her mental powers tried to reach out to the minds of the people on the Tulip*

Dante' heard the crackle..pop sound of the static interference on the communications frequency, then he heard the voice of a young woman asking for help against the Raiders.
"Luc, listen to that, that voice sounds frightened but there's another aspect to it, almost as if she doesn't want to ask for help, were being set up guaranteed"

"This is captain Dante', your request for help has been acknowledged, who else is abord your ship and who is the rebel in charge at the present time?"

Dante' waited for a response, knowing he would get one sooner or later, the ship wasn't going anywhere, he had t locked in a force field so tight that nothing was gonna move it but he was not willing to go abord the enemy craft without back up or a damn good plan.

*Sagira smiled hearing a friendly voice* Thank you thank you *She give him the Mans first name as if it were his last. Her mind trying to reach his if she could trying to get them help from this kind captain.*

*Luc blinked hearing him admit it might have been a set up* Yeah but let me guess Dante you think she is still innocent in all of this don't you?

*Percy walked to the bridge* Everything is set for us to board the ship the Raider ship just *Laughs* Got another call to go elsewhere... you're welcome

*Walking over the the Weapons closet there on the bridge and getting us usual disruptor she smiled* Lets go get paid

*Luc nodded in agreement and walked over as well* Keep an eye on your Uncle Percy he is in Hero mode

*Percy sighs and nods* Got it
