"Bound Friends" by Jessbbaby34 is a series that really stuck with me, in ways good and bad. Overall I have to say the story got it's hooks in me, but then left me wanting, even before the author stopped writing.
I definitely recommend the first two parts, which follow four young adult women as they explore kink, having their boundaries gently pushed as they go. (Though this mostly applies to only three of the four.)
I start to have mixed feelings about the rest of the series. I more cautiously recommend parts three to eight, which form something of a story arc that explores the characters more deeply. Those chapters start without the "pressure" on the characters that was present in the first two parts, but then the tone shifts towards nonconsent, especially in the climax in part eight.
After that I have very mixed feelings about the story, with individual chapters varying from very enjoyable to irritatingly boring based on details I won't spoil here, though I kind of want to recommend some parts of the story over others to people who are thinking of reading past 8.
That said, The story kind of got me attached to the characters, so I kind of want to discuss my thoughts with people who have read it.
