So the wife is exploring the possibilities of boudoir photography.

Out of curiosity, anyone have any accessories stores for this? Specifically looking for lower priced outfits and outfit accessories.

Thanks!

I've done this-- several years ago, some of the best pictures were the ones that were simplest

Men's white button down shirt
High heels
stockings

Topless with jeans

Panties and a t-shirt that was "riding up" with touseled hair

Towel

Satin robe undone
And then I had some sheer lacy stuff that I already owned that I knew he loved and 1 thing I'd picked and wore underneath my clothes for the day I gave him the photos.

Umm......wow...that would work for me :D

I would agree that the best outfits for Boudoir photos are most often found in her closet. That said, a great place to sexy lingerie that photographs nicely is Burlington Coat Factory. No kidding. You can often find a bustier for under $10.

First of all, I think your honey may feel sexier if she knew you weren't looking for "lower priced outfits"! :p

That being said, I feel the most sexy in something really simple. If it feels good to my skin, then I feel ever sexier. I would give her your favourite dress shirt, maybe even with the scent of your cologne lingering on it, still. Surprise her with some new pearl earrings or a string of them, even, and you will have a smoking hot, sexy feeling woman on your hands!

How does one go about finding someone to take photos of this nature? I've been wanting to do this, but I have no idea where to start.

There are photographers sites available. Some are crap, but some blow your mind at the beauty. My advice, as limited as it is, would be to take your own photos first and see what works for you, your body, and your tastes.
The wife has done some for us personally, but she wanted to know how to spice it up with settings/clothing without going to the "porn" look. My original post was to find some sites that were along the line of classic boudoir accessories, not necessarily lingerie sites like VS, Fredericks, etc., although I do appreciate the efforts. Ideas that we have come across and like are nudes with pearl strands, nudes with masks, sheer robes, and feathers. Feathers sounds wierd but it actually works well.

ITA - I did these for the hubs last year, and the favorites were with his dress shirt, tie, and stockings, and a baseball jersey with lacy boy shorts. I think the appeal is with taking "normal, everyday" things and making them sexy.

Make sure you are comfortable with the photographer. I am lucky enough to have a friend who is a professional photographer and although this isn't her "field" so to speak she did them for me and they were wonderful.

Would love to see your picture thread.
