Congratulations to my hometown Boston and to my beloved Boston Red Sox, the best team in baseball.

From last to first, from worst to best, they are a true money ball team.

Good job! I loved watching every minute of every game.

Not a baseball fan, but we love our Bruins!

I've been pissed at the Sox for most of the second half of the season for shredding my beloved Orioles. And swiping Victorino (I'm a Phillies fan, too).

Shane earned his keep tonight. Pineapple for everyone! Congrats to Boston. :)

There is joy in Mudville tonight-- and all over the place, I never knew how many people I know from Boston!

Congrats, Freddie, your guys did good.

The first season I followed the Sox I was 10 years old.

It was 1978 the years of the epic late season collapse and the one game play off my father let me skip school to watch (remember day play off games?) and of course that was the day of "Bucky Fucking Dent"

I saw the ball go through Buckner's legs and then in 2003 Aaron Fucking Boone and all the heartache in between and that was me

My parents suffered through 1975 and 1967 and my grand father 1946

after 86 years it is mind blowing that they have now won 3 times in a decade and in a way this is the sweetest, some name players, but not a lot of superstars and they played hard start to finish.

But I think Freddie needs to look up money ball because the Sox had the number 4 payroll this year

The Pirates, A's, Rays and Indians were the money ball play off teams with the A's lowest at 55 million.

But, hey what do you expect from Freddie, the truth?

Love those Sox

after the Braves of course. Congrats to the Sox for their World Series win. Glad they beat those hted Cards.
Braves are my first team, but Sox or close second. Only time I root against them is when they play the Braves.

I am definitely not a Red Sox fan, but credit where it is due. They were consistently strong all year and are deserving winners.

Used to be that Boston sports fans had to deal with a lot of heartache. Now you guys and gals are spoiled!
