I'm sure it's obvious by now I'm Jacinda (40) As an event planner, it's important I look my best, especially since my clients tend to be high end power corporations.. and a few music industry types who tend to want to have lavish parties where sometimes it's necessary for me to wear something a little sexier that shows I know what the clients expect.
My husband Elliot (55) lately seems to be wanting to be at the lavish parties that I've been planning for more clients. It may have something to do with an event last month. It was for a well known rap artist/actor and was asked of me by his agent to throw a celebration for his new single being #1. Obviously the only thing I purchase and organize are alcohol for the full bars and champagne. It was the host and some of his close friends from his New York childhood who brought the other "VIP party favors."
I won't lie and say I didn't find Lamar (not his real name) and some of his friends attractive and charming (there were also a few who were obnoxious and a but too forward). And I'll say, that yes, I did wear something a little sexier to the event, which Elliot seemed unhappy about. Maybe you can be the judge for yourself from the perspective of Elliot... or someone at the party.
