As I sit here pasting a picture of wonderwomen into a bigger image for the background of my desktop. My picture montage now includes the women herself, cactus flowers, segments of Degas Baleet Dancers and of Van Goghs Starry night and a picture of Bell from Beauty and the beast. Hong Kong Phooey was there for a short time but spoilt the asthetic feel of it.

I wonder what other people have as the backgrounds on their desktops?

Well, I can't think of anything else to delay my fighting with the housework.

So long.

La! La! Laaa!

I thought this thread was going to ask how long it took to make the Channel Tunnel, or dig an oil well. Oh well.

Confession time: Babe (as in the pig from the movie of the same name).

A dragon in a bubble. I have a thing for fantasy art. I have a steady rotation of dragons, wizards, unicorns and fairies to look at each day. :D

A Picture of My Son, my Niece and my Nephew/Godson, and a gorgeous pic at that too :D

it changes....daily sometimes...

celestial bodies mostly (stars, planets, nebulae, half naked women)

Looking out at the beach and then further offshore, off into the ocean, as if from a big picture window. The very edges of the room show around the window. There's a storm coming but it's still far offshore. Perhaps it'll beat the sunset.

cymbidia

That sounds really good. Did you find it on the net and if so, where?

Hong Kong Phooey! God, I remember that horrible cartoon. Voiced by Scatman Crothers. What are you going to put up next? Batfink? The Wacky Racers? LOL

I have nothing on my screen now. I got tired of not being able to see the icons.

I've had "The Dream" by Henri Rousseau on my desktop for two years now. You know, that one with the naked woman on the couch in the jungle with all the snakes and lions and native flute-playing men hidden in the foliage.

I have a desktop I made out of DBZ Characters. I even made icons and cursors to go with it.

Before that I had a bunch of Angel graphics I made.

I'm working on a new one now though. I get bored way too easily.

Dixon >> Nothing wrong with Hong Kong Phooey.
I had the theme tune as well.
Anyway its Rhubarb and Custard next!

Piper >> "The Dream" by Henri Rousseau. Nice pic,
but two years about time for a change?

So far theres no very way out answers to this question.

I downloaded a photo from NASA taken by the Hubble Telescope of the Keyhole Nebula, a beautiful cluster of stars and dust about 8000 light years away. (One light year is 5.8 trillion miles!) I played with it a bit in Photoshop and now it sits on my desktop as a constant reminder of how vast is the universe in which we live.
